Doesnt seem to be, websites that should work now tell me that I need to get the latest version of flash...so much for having Flash, now since it took so dang long the version is outdated lol


...well instead of praying for 2.3 [which i can feel will not be coming to us], i've now dedicated my prays in hopes they fix these sound issues. You can even now hear the "CHARGE COMPLETE" sound clear across my house haha, not to mention im getting completely false reads on that. My battery widget reads 99%, it did the beep saying it was 100% full so I unplug and it drops to 98%, replug it in goes to 99% beeps again saying complete...i'm thinking she needs a full battery drain and recharge, anyone else having these battery level issues?
 
I think the % issue is normal. If I unplug at 100% and plug back in, it shows 99% as well.

Did you try to disable battery charge pop up? It has been work great for me.

I never had that on 2.1, it would stay on 100% for a little bit before jumping to 99% off charger....I went into the hidden menu when i was on 2.1 to disable pop up [which didnt work for me] but now it seems that i can't even get into the hidden menus anymore except for the one to enable hidden menus [which are still on enabled].......maybe a full battery drain/charge will help fix this? I've turned my phone off and am charging it, gonna see what happens % wise when i turn back on....should my hidden menus still work?
 
Damn, I never had problems with call quality. I've made one outgoing call and have had one incoming call and both people tell me I am cutting out.

Did you go into the Market and download the flash 10.2 update? I'm not sure if its there as I don't have a Fascinate but I've had to do that on every 2.2 phone I've had
 
Has anybody noticed the battery indicator colors change at a higher percentage then on the previous software ver. and yes i agree with everyone the performance is so much better it feels like a new phone.
 
Anyone having an issue with 3G disappearing from the status bar...I've noticed that my 3G icon will just disappear when i go to open the market and the browser...etc. It shows that mobile data is still on so i'm not sure whats going on. After a minute or so it will just random reappear.....anyone else having this issue, solutions?

Question about flash. I love watching stuff on JUSTIN.TV but when i log onto that site it tells me my phone isnt supported. I've even downloaded the flash update from the market and it still doesnt work. Am i wrong in thinking that with the flash support we've got now with Froyo this site should work?:eek:

I did get the flash update off the market, but justin.tv is still telling me my device isn't supported....my big issue now this is the random off and on of my 3G, seems to be happening when I use an app/browser...etc that requires transmission of data of 3G, i dunno what to do. Clicking mobile data off/on button doesnt work, nor does airplane...etc. Ahhh, and Froyo was looking so good, didnt have this issue earlier today


Anyone think that maybe this is due to the high traffic of people trying to get the update? I noticed that when the 3G is showing up the speed is noticeably slowing and im downloading things as slowing then speeds I did earlier today

I am I was trying to figure out if there is a setting to change but I can't find one. If anyone has an answer thanks in advance.

The update is awesome overall so far. I haven't used everything so far no problems from 2.1 to 2.2.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it's probably a good idea to update roaming capabilities after a major upgrade such a froyo. *228 option 2.

Yeah i tried that, been searching and trying different things all day...been reading that its happening on other devices with Froyo...lookin to maybe be some kinda Froyo issue that is not being addressed...has anyone else have this problem, its kinda like everytime i load an app its "resetting" my 3G, disappears for about 50-60 seconds then comes back n works, unless i dont do anything for a couple minutes then when i do, it does the same thing over again...also I never get the X1, only arrows and that damn D, even when I call/receive phone calls or hit my task killer
 
Yes, I noticed the color of the battery meter changes at different percentages than 2.1! To me I think it is more accurate. It shows half at 50%...yellow at 30%....red at 15%...flashing at 5%..I like it better.
 
Ever since I updated Opera Mini/Mobile have been running EXTREMELY poorly. They load and such but take forever to load any web content. Switching to Dolphin HD and stuff loads like a rocket. Any idea?

Also, my wife did the upgrade and now when she goes the market it and loads up her downloads it says she's not downloaded anything (she's full of apps).

Definitely some odd bugs thus far...

I had that same issue when I first rooted and upgraded to the Froyo rom. It eventually fixed itself after a few reboots and downloads from the market...

hey i have that same problem but only with LP. when i am using touchwiz no problem. i did a factory reset too though. I am just waiting for LP with new update to see if it get fix
 
Just got back from Verizon, non of the techs could figure it out this disappearing 3G issue, i got this phone awhile back from a friend [so naturally theres no warrenty..etc] so im stuck gonna have to hit craigslist and such to find a new one, then sell this one i guess :mad:
