ok, so since no one else has made this observation, i hope a few people will find some use in what im about to say. if you look closely at the usage graph, you will see that it says that the battery has been being used for roughly 5hr and 14min. if you look closely at the graph, it appears as if for roughly the first 1hr and 45 min(notice the vertical break in the graph appears to be at appx 1/3 the length of the graph) that the phone was barely used and was mostly in an idle state. once he started to actively use the phone, it appears it went from about ~90% down to 45% over the next 3hr and 30min. i hope the battery is better than anyone expects, but i just thought i would put some reality into the claims that the battery performed that well after the 5hr 15min of constant use, when in reality, the graph seems to show that it dropped most of its charge in about 3 1/2hr, not the full 5hr 15min we are being lead t believe.

Had no idea public records could be withheld. Thx ant
They can't be withheld fully, but they can put a date on them for public release. Years ago, entrepreneurial individuals discovered that they could get a products specs and pics way ahead of the official release. So companies wised up, and started putting public release dates on their regulatory filings. Note that this was available from the FCC for a long time, wireless companies just started using it recently.

Well I have been lurking tonight but I have to get to bed. Closing on my house in the morning and then I have 10,000 other things to do.

If we get a release date or any other good info. just email me @

givememyfreaking_Gnex.com :( just kidding . And BB, I'm ready to be tucked in :)

Quick Question? Will current apps be able to run on ICS. as in the ones we already on hour phone

Some will work fine, some would be better served with optimization, and others might not work at all. This is where you find out which developer is really supporting the apps.

This may be the most happening thread on earth!

I have a gut feeling this launch is going to catch most of us off guard...

Gl on the closing

Most definitely. But they won't take up the whole screen, most likely. However, that shouldn't last long, as many app developers will tweak them to take full advantage of the screen real estate and resolution.

I do think a lot of apps do resize properly already, although I'm not sure if the text would resize automatically. Maybe that's why they made such a big deal about roboto

Adds up perfectly if you only get 3hrs sleep a night. :(

Ouch - sorry to hear that.

Here's hoping. At least ICS will let us see which devs really support their games/apps.

That article was posted October 14th. Not really new news. It is also still called "Nexus Prime" in the picture.
And we also know that's a fake, because it has never been called the Nexus Prime (at least from Verizon).

I also know for a fact that the phone is NOT in Verizon's Cellebrite system.
