Specs on official internal equipment guide from Verizon shows the LTE version has a micro Sim. Just sayin.
I think I may give the authorized retailer that promised to hold me one a call, at least he acted more helpful than my local corporate store.
I deal with 30 Walmarts as work clients. They all do this. Once Connection Center is closed, you're waiting til 9:30am the next morning.
Plus my walmart doesn't even stock the RAZR or Rezound... They tell you to go through their internet site for those...
For those of you who remember my coverage conundrum and switching from T-Mobile. After seeing all this stuff about Google Wallet not working on the GNex I'm worried again that it won't really be a nexus device. I called the guy I've been working with at the corporate VZW store and told him not to bother holding one for me on launch day. I want to wait and see whether it's a real nexus device or not.
I'm going to re-check service with my new sim card at the new house at closing. If I can make T-Mobile work there, I'll probably go ahead and get a GSM GNex. Otherwise I may still go with the verizon. Funny feeling after spending so much time hoping it would come out NOW.
Yeah, I was thinking the one in Everett, it's the only one accessible by T. Droid-life announced that Costco will have it on the 9th, I'm just waiting to see what their bundle will be. I'm really hoping it includes the extended battery.I've got a Costco membership...are you talking about the one in Everett? I'm trying to figure out if it'll be worthwhile for me to get over there Friday or not...if they have a bundle I'll probably try.
If you've got a debit card, an AMEX credit card or cash you just need a friend with a Costco membership to get you in the door.
Nice, thanks!

Does the Bionic use the same size sim as the GNex?
Hopefully someone can help out this clueless noob. My only experience with a smart phone is a B.B. Bold and I am over 40 so please excuse my ignorant questions. I have been interested in the Galaxy Nexus since watching the live announcements overnight many months ago. I would love to have this phone soon, but I can wait if I need to, but I would like some advice.
I will use the phone most of the time at home, since I have a home office, and while I will be a heavy data user I don
Gooooooooood Moooooorrrnniiing GNexers! (in my best Robin Williams impression.) wow we were busy last night, I came back to over 500 posts to catch up on. I am thinking today will be the last day we are all in the same boat. With all the stores getting them, there has to be one that will break the rules tomorrow... Anyone else think with all the reps confirming the ninth for release, and we are going to see a press release finally today?

well boys and girls............ Tomorrow is Christmas Eve... I'm so excited!!!!!
The corporate store just told me they didn't know when the phone is coming out and that they didn't have a release date. So my local a authorized retailer said they are going to give it to me Friday, so the corporate store loses my business.
