I-O!I'm an OSU alum. I miss Columbus quite a bit!
O-H!
Off topic (OSU Football & Basketball)I-O!

Excited about Urban Meyer? We're gonna rock the next couple years. With Meyer helping Braxton get his throwing game down and a good spread offense, national championship here we come!
Going to be the most watched bowl game between two 6-6 teams ever.Prepare to get curb stomped by the Gators....again....
and no I'm not bitter about Urban. He was a great coach for us, not surprised he went back to OSU. IMO he is spent though, but he will give it a go. All the coaches that helped him become successful are somewhere else so we will see what happens.
As much as it blows, you're doing the right thing. Having someone get fired because you are over anxious for a phone is uncool.
The myth of not being able to activate...is just that. It activated just fine....I will explain when I turn
Who said they'd eat their phone if someone got one today?

Well congrats on the purchase but that's ridiculous.
I'm not a lawyer, but I would think that if you bought the device, they can't take it from you. The transaction went through, right?
My conspiracy theory (THIS IS JUST WILD SPECULATION ON A POSSIBLE CAUSE FOR DELAY): The Google Wallet fiasco. Verizon has a competing technology so they do not want this native-function available to their users. Google called them out on blocking this feature and they want to save face.
It has been widely shared that Verizon is not legally permitted to block the application, so their response is that they are not releasing the device until Samsung replaces all the batteries with non-NFC compliant ones. This change would make it so the Galaxy Nexus will no longer support NFC on the hardware side and this will remove the need for Verizon to assume liability and reputational risk for illegally blocking an application.
If I'm right, we are waiting for shipments of replacement batteries before the device will be launched.
No that is the sellers fault for selling one early nothing falls on the buyer, the seller should know better.
OT:
I need some cheering up. I think I'll go look at the Prime website again.![]()
Well, brb, eating my phone.
If stores aren't preparing right now... no way in hell do I see that happening. There is a lot that goes into this.
But man.. I'll eat a phone if you are right. And I won't back down! It'll be one of those gummy ones you can get at the candy store.
Folks...why would returning this phone save anyone's job. The phone has been sold already. That is what will get someone fired. Returning the phone is a moot point. If one were to get fired it would be for selling it in the first place.
People talking about the right thing to do and being afraid someone would lose their job....the right thing to do was to not buy it in the first place if you were afraid someone would lose their job.
See, now this I believe. There is something wrong with the Nexus as it has to do with Verizon network. ....
Not defending VZW this is a major epic fail. But it is a real reason ... not a conspiracy.
Guys, Verizon just released an official apology for the delay!
