Heres what I think guys... we all know the hysteria relating to this release and sometimes the inability for people to read correctly. I wouldnt be surprised if this email was read incorrectly. This is copied from Droid-Life. If you read that statement it clearly says 'locations were instructed to hold all nexus items for the rescheduled launch date' I bet it was read in haste and thought it was a delay letter:

Got another confirmation from another Verizon Corp. by me. BJ's in Paramus confirmed they will have it for sale tomorrow. So that's two confirmations for me :) Garden State Mall and BJ's at Paramus. Garden State will be visited first as they open earlier.

Does tomorrow for the website mean midnight or the next business day hours which would be morning hours? I'm hoping I can order it in the next 8-9 hours.

I just got a call back from my local Verizon rep and he gave me his work cell phone number. He said they were still planning on releasing the phone tomorrow. He said he would set one aside with my name on it and I could come in at 8AM tomorrow (when they open) and pick it up. He said if for some reason there was a mad dash in the morning and they were going to run out he would charge it to my account so it would be "paid for" and guaranteed to be mine.
 
I just got a text message from a CSR from Verizon and he said this " It's **** from Verizon wireless... the nexus is releasing tomorrow and working 10-7 so come on in if you get a chance"

this was sent at 5:04

So tomorrow I will wake up at 5am, to be online by7:30am so I can have the phone in my hand by 8:45.
 
i stopped in a corp store (in TX) last friday to hear from the district and regional mgrs that it was the 15th. so i sent a text to a good friend of mine, who is a store manager back in cleveland, oh, if she could confirm. as of this past monday, she was mum... saying "still haven't heard anything here"

literally just got a text from her outta the blue:
just got the go ahead. tomorrow is a go! enjoy your nexus! see you after christmas!

vzw PR or not... i'm definitely heading to the store at open tomorrow and coming into work late. i love having flex time :D
 
androidcentral had a tweet a second ago that said verizon just announced it...now my twitter seems jammed..

That could be exactly what VZW wants. I'm sure they'd love to sell you a RAZR that they spent upteen million dollars advertising.

not you han, definitely not you. read back through, you will see(if they werent deleted) people saying "do i sense trolls among us" and "all these people posting negative news are just trolling us". im not heated about it or anything, just had to share what i thought about people(myself included) being called out about it.
