Verizon officially announced it on their facebook page. It's official as it can be unless it gets delayed again in the next few hours.

Btw, I stopped by my vzw store at 8:55 tonight to see if there was anyway they'd sell me one tonight. No go. Her official line was the system won't let us sell it until tomorrow. I call BS on that one. On the other hand she did say they had a lot of them in stock...whatever a lot means.

I'm going to march right into The Cellular Connection and demand a Nexus tomorrow. So much for 12/22 release! That guy plain lied to me :( I thought I trusted him too!

Anyways, he still says I'm the one and only guy on the list who has even asked about the Nexus. Looks like I'll be the first in my entire city to get it! Woot.

No. They OFFICIALLY announced it, there's no turning back whatsoever. 12/9 was an internally rumored date but nothing was officially stated by Verizon. This is as real as it gets and we will have the Nexus tomorrow ^_^

I was one of them. By the time I got out of class, after taking my last final this semester, my rep had called yet again to tell me it was a go again and it was Official. Needless to say I was practically skipping back to my car from he excitement. What a day!!!

Believe me, I'm fully aware I'm crazy, I just need to see it on the screen to keep the voices from getting too loud :p
 
Anyone know what accessories they will be purchasing with their Nexus tomorrow??

I want to look at the car dock, but from a review at AC I just read it looks kinda cheap and lacks the pin charging that they thought it would have...
 
I'm kind of nervous that there might be a lot of techie types in my city and there might be a line. I'm dropping my husband off at work around 8 and then going straight to the store which doesn't open til 9. So I think I'll be alright.

But I'm still worried...

I'm deciding which one I should go to locally. The one I used to frequent is further than I'd like to go but they're not idiots... I'd like my morning as hassle free as possible. That's why I'll do my factory reset right before bed I think.

For sure home dock and a ext battree if available. Car dock I want to examine before buying.

And let's not forget it was also announced (right before the official announcement) that there would be a patch right after activation. Looks like a BUG held this up after all.
