***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

So I just ordered my GN on Verizon's site and upon completing the transaction, I received this message:

Your order is subject to final credit approval. We will contact you if we need additional information to complete your order. Pre-orders will ship when the item becomes available. We reserve the right to limit quantities. You cannot change your shipping address after you submit the order.

The GN is available right now is it not? Meaning it WILL be shipped tomorrow?

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see free overnight shipping.

Are you a brand new Verizon customer? If so, then it might not ship tomorrow. Everyone that signs up with Verizon needs to pass certain credit approvals and/or pay fees if they do not meet the standards. I'm guessing if you're brand spankin new, then they need to complete that process before they can ship. I think the part about pre-orders is just a stock message and not implying anything about the nexus. Just a disclaimer.

Hey guys sorry if this has already been posted but before I place my order. I live in NY and it's 1:22 EST. If I choose the $12.99 super duper deluxe awesome special bow on top shipping, when should I be expecting it? If today is thursday would it be friday?

*edit* or rather, is it worth spending the extra few bucks for the upgraded shipping or is it not going to really make a difference since it's 1:30 in the morning on a thursday?

Not true. You are so swift, that there was only one time I was around when things were going south, and by the time I had a chance to look back, *Poof* things were cleaned up and back on track. That is MAJOR dedication, my friend! My hat is off to You BTW, I am a huge Cowboy Bebop. That, Trigun, and Berzerk, are probably my top three favorite anime series of all time!

I'm just rewatching Trigun and remembering how AMAZING it is! It's definitely my favorite anime. (Though to be fair the only other one I've watched beginning to end was Serial Experiments: Lain. Also great but very strange...)

I got this message too and I'm an existing customer upgrading. It's a new 2 year contract, of course they will run your credit again. If you haven't missed any payments with Verizon or something else like a loan payment, I think you're still good to go.

I only wanted the extended battery I have a 50% accessory thing on my account so it would have only been $20-25 ... The gloves will be nice if they work , I'm out late a lot in Chicago and Denver and the winters can get kinda cold being outside at 2am I wear gloves occasionally but it's a pain when you have to remove them just to use your phone

You know what, I think you just talked me into the gloves. I forgot that I struggle mightly almost every night during my cigarette breaks. I can usually bundle myself up so that my body and face aren't cold, but with a cigarette in one hand and my phone in the other, they almost get frostbite!!!

And that's cool that you get the discount. I wish I did. It'd make it a little better seeing as everything is extremely expensive.

With the extended battery, I'm not a big fan of how it looks. It's better than I've ever seen, but still too choppy for my taste. I'd rather have the extra battery + battery wall charger. When I got my droid x, I got a car charger, a usb cord, a wall charger, plus the extra battery and battery wall charger all for $9.99 with free shipping. I'll be looking for a similar deal on ebay in the coming days.
