Actually, my 2 daughters had the Eriss' (Eri?). I was rocking a BB Storm at the time. I eventually got them. Yes, I liked them and still like the form factor. As under powered as they were, they were still pretty good phones.

hope you are right about the GNex being as friendly and satisfying. I just hope it doesnt suffer previously weak sammy radio and gps. No sd card, etc. It's gonna be a learning curve. But hopefully, a pleasant one. Good luck with yours!

when i used to work part time for dealers like 3 years ago, the credit ting is realy really quick. takes like 10 minutes max
 
Anyone buying from Amazon Wireless? It says back ordered already... and when I go to the checkout screen it says estimated delivery Dec 29 o_O

Its $150 more for me to order from Verizon's website so I'm in a dilemma here.

Has anyone in Northern Virginia successfully added $100 discount? I'm in a little dilemma whether to purchase it on LetsTalk or talk to CSR tmrw.

Well in in NJ and just tried, the rep said it would require a code at checkout, but he didnt have the code to give me. :mad: Though the rep that noted it on my account didnt say I'd need a code, with this much confusion I'm gonna call CSR in the morning.

Darn it. For me it'd be $175 on LetsTalk and $150 on VZW if I can get that discount. I'd really prefer just picking up the phone from a corporate store rather than waiting for UPS/Fedex/USPS to arrive next day...
 
So...

Do you guys think I should go into the store and try and get them to give me my upgrade (which is due in Feb.)?

And if they say no...should I pull the, "I'll cancel my account now" card?

I believe Amazon always does that for new phones...as in that's not true indicator of their stock.

Yeah well to me the savings are worth having it day 1.
 
What is the latest consensus on using the $100 4G promo when it has been noted on one's account? Will this be honored at corporate store or not? I don't see it online when I go to buy the Nexus now. I see a special offer price of $249 but that is it. I'm wondering if a corp store will even honor the special price or not.

611 support is closed now but a chat window just popped up... we'll see where this goes.
 
thanks again to everyone who provided sources and leaks! while i remained skeptical of thursdays release, i'am sure glad it happened! now i could maybe get back to my regular life and stop obsessing over this phone....at least until i'm done tweaking the hell out of it ;)

Glad to see this place has returned to a snappy refresh and the posts coming at a more sedate pace.

Also glad that you guys ordering online are so excited....but I'll be excited before you guys cos I be going to the store and getting mine while yours are still on the fedex truck!
