Picking mine up in 45 min. Hopefully there is no iPhone style line there.

I think there might be something wrong with me. I am a little more excited about the arrival of the Galaxy Nexus in my hands than when my first born arrived.
 
Ugh . . . I can't watch this any longer. As happy as I am for you all, I'm getting GREEN with envy and a bit PANICKED that there won't be any left for me when I get off of work. I won't be back here until 4:30 est HOPEFULLY with a Gnex in hand.

Someone convince me to root when I get it in a few hours. I always root, but the reason why is because I want vanilla android/or the closest to vanilla for that matter. So why should I root? I don't really tether or anything. I'm just looking for a little push so someone convince me!!

Yeah, they were calling other stores to try to get more phones too! Very disorganized and unprepared. I'm wondering if Verizon rushed to release today without telling everyone, and that's why there were conflicting reports all day yesterday.
 
Looking at the white RAZR while waiting for the Nexus. There is barely any white on the phone. The bezel is still black and the back is still black. The edge black and white
 
I'm sooooo ready for my nexus but my store doesn't open until ten!! Hopefully there won't be a line when I take an early break from work.

Quick questions for the battery gurus. What approach are you taking? Full charge before use? Drain and recharge?

I've been suffering with inaccurate battery starts on my OG and want to start out with a great battery for my great phone.

Titanium Backup? That was about the only reason I rooted my OG Droid, until I got into the ROM'ing game. It is also just plain fun to tinker, isn't it?

Root Explorer as a fuller, more complete file explorer?

Overclocking (as if the battery life won't be bad enough :/ )
 
If I buy a phone from LetsTalk, can I just port my number I got last week when I bought the Razr as a rental, then take back the Razr to my corp store?

Sitting on my butt on a comfy couch at a mall waiting for the corporate VZW store to open.... While dozens of mall walkers go by. Lol. No one else here for the Nexus that I can see, but that's ok. Using my iPad 2 via 4G Hotspot on my Bionic. Kinda lonely, but only 37 minutes to go!
