I'm with you. One Thursday a month I'm on call and stuck in the hospital and this is the one. I'm trying to finagle a trip out but it's killing me!
 
Submitting this from my nexus! First one in line out of five. Limited use so far but alewady made me forget about my old phone(BB Storm). Good luck to everyone else. Its been fun checking this forum every few minutes for the last few weeks.. im gonna miss this thread. Thank you to everyone who contrubuted.
 
So I'm sitting outside my vz store. A car pulls up. A old lady walks to the store door. Starts pulling the handle throws her ands in the air. Kids in the car start looking up set I think they have to go to school poor kids. Store opens at 10 here.

Nope, you're not the only one.

I ordered mine at 1AM EST and I'm glad I did. The order status page says that it has already shipped, but does not give a tracking number yet.

I won't be able to get out of work until late this afternoon and wanted to guarantee that I'd have the phone for the weekend.

It also keeps me from having to deal with traffic and annoying people.
 
Phew. I hope I got everything I needed off my old phone! Hard resets are scary, lol.

I am off to the store, the Best Buys around here opened at 9 am, but I'm guessing I will be ok for stock? I hope so! Otherwise I'll have some driving to do. Wish me luck!

Got here at 9 when the store opened, 5 nexus people in front of me. :eek: still waiting. This store isn't in a big city, totally did not expect a line. Wow! Been fondling the display model lol

I will be just getting my phone. The stores here in ABQ do not open until 10am, I called three stores to double check.

Thanks everyone for all the ups and downs!

Just got home with my Nexus! The store let people in one at a time before they opened at 9 AM and I was about the 6th one in. Was done by the time they opened. Employees said that there were definitely more people there today for the Nexus than for the Razr when it launched!
 
Stopped by my local VZW store last night after work to see if I could reserve a GNex since I have meetings all day today. Rep tried to tell me there was still no due date, and they had no idea when it would come out. I held up my phone with the VZW Facebook announcement. She said, "Oh...yeah...that. You can buy it tomorrow."

What's up with the lying? A gag order is one thing. Tell me that corporate said you can't say anything. But flat out lying? Grrrr.
