Well its never really been sold in any cell phone stores before other then best buy , correct me if am wrong. Maybe they are bucking the trend by selling in vzw and tmobile stores now
Great point! Let's hope so...that would make it more likely for us to be able to get tmo's wifi calling app too. this is my only grype with my N1

Yep, some are, most definitely. Once word started getting out, people stopped testing the theory on this. So, are they all? I don't know - but forewarned is best.

It is for the add-on warranty - don't think so if you go without that and rely just on manufacturer's warranty.

Or if a few days later, you find you have a lemon with a bad GPS or whatever, and try to go for the store trade - at the point the moisture sensor is in the red, you may be looking at an insurance deductible.

I'm not an expert on warranties or anything - I just see the horror stories across oh, so many brands.

Ditto on screen protector horror stories. I see people whose habits and habitats don't lead to much in the way of scratches advising against screen protectors for others. Why? People are different in their uses and environments. For those of you whose mileage varies, I recommend the Zagg Invisishield (avoid the no-smudge one, go for the plain). Pretty easy to get on, and if you apply no pressure when using, your finger will slip across the surface and the phone will respond. Don't use your phone for the first 12 to 24 hours. When applied, the thing will be gummy with lots of water bubbles underneath. When dry, it hardens and the water bubbles disappear - if you don't mess with it while drying. Keep the applicator stuff out of the rest of the phone - moisture, etc, see above. Keys aren't the big threat - sand is.

Not sure about everyone else, but Apple has backed off a bit on instant moisture sensor = voided warranty.

well heres to hoping tmobile customers get the gn too, i would give tmobile an try but there service just isn't very good where i live. They do have an nice selection of android phones especially those htc ones

I've been extremely happy with the Steinheil Crystal Clear protectors. About the best ones I've ever used, either wet or dry. You do need to clean the screen good before the application, and it's a dry process.

I've had people handle my phone and comment that I should put a screen protector on it. I've told them I'll think about it. :D

You know, I've used cheap screen protectors from Amazon and been completely satisfied ...not sure what I'd gain from a high quality product.

I remember way back 10000 posts or so everyone was freaking out about how severe the curvature of the screen was. I said it actually looked less curved than the Nexus S. And it is.

The one thing I wish it shared with the Nexus S is how the Nexus S's screen was so dark when it was off the whole front looked like a tinted window and you couldn't differentiate where the screen began and ended.

It should look just like it; I think perhaps the photos we have seen allow you to "see" under the front glass down to the screen, but I bet in real life it looks just as black as the NS. My original amoled DInc looked like that too :-)

Alright, Nexus gang, I haven't really seen any side by side comparisons but which one is gonna end up with the better camera....the Prime or Galaxy II?

Other than sheer picture size(8MP on the S2, 5MP on the SGN), the SGN looks to be superior. Zero shutter lag is a big deal, and the panoramic shooting looks pretty cool too. Overall quality is hard to say at this time though.

Every time I take a pic with my DInc I look at it and tell it to behave. I'm not sure if I know it's going to be replaced and the focus time and lag is now starting to drive me batty or if it knows it's being replaced and is going to play games with me. :D

Thanks..then it truly remains a waiting game for the time being. No matter...I'm good with my N1:cool:

For my car dock needs I go with - Device Holders and Dashboard Vehicle Mounts*-*ProClip Car Mounts for Mobile Phones, GPS, and Handheld Devices. But they will not be ready right away so I'll wing it until then. I always make sure I'll have the phone and car for two years too. The car is a yes, the phone is still out :). I usually get 3 pieces, dash bracket, swivel, cradle.
If I do not like the dash mounting bracket but want the powered cradle I go here Pro.Fit International - Mounting Solutions for Cell Phones and GPS for the dash bracket. These are metal and very nice.

I like the durability and factory install look. I don't like blocking AC vents or glass mounts.

Looks sweet. I know you said you didn't like the phone blocking the AC vent, but when I had my incredible, it got pretty hot during nav sessions, so having it in front of the AC vent helped with that.

I love my Dinc, but it didn't respond well to low light and "moving" shots (me or the subject). Which is usually when a camera phone comes in handy :P

I'll wait to I see a "zero" lag camera in action before I comment on it.

Regarding screen protectors- I prefer the wet application ones. Yeah, it sucks to not be able to use it for a day or so (really I've found overnight is fine), but it's really the only way I've *ever* been happy with a screen protector application.

I had great luck applying the dry mount Steinhall Crystal on my Dinc. It lasted for a year and I found no reason to replace it since.

If I remember correctly from reading the poems and riddles awhile back, That we would hear something from Verizon around Halloween time and that we would be holding the Gnex in are hands on Thanksgiving day.

----forget the Ghost, Goblins, and treats. Verizon Gnexers will be ?
----And on turkey day, we will be watching football and be happy with are new Gnex ?
