When I picked up my Thunderbolt at the Verizon store at lunch, I believe there were only a few left and as they were going through the activation process the last one was sold. I even took an early lunch and went around noon.

Live in Passaic County (surrounded by Bergen though) and work in Bergen County.
I can not imagine living near the Tunnel and the traffic. I get enough with the Rt 4 & 17 interchange and the 17 & Parkway Entrances.

Inc was about only phone I know that sold out and thats because of screen shortages.

I had an SGS2 for about 5 months, and the GPS lock-up was extremely fast. The only thing I did initially was use FasterFix to change my NTP settings to USA, since the phone was from Poland and looking at the European NTP servers. After that, GPS was great!

I drove a long way to get a DX... then got there, decided I didn't like it and got a D2 instead. ;)

There's a VZW in the BJ's across from my office park, I got my Xoom there on release day (I preordered my LTE Tab and got it in the mail) so if I go in person I'll probably go there- their employees are actually quite good and knowledgable. But more likely I'll preorder it.

My good friend got the Eris on the same day I got the OG Droid. He was so proud of spending $100 less than me. I could only shake my head and say "Dude... you're a doctor." You can't take it with you, folks!

Well, we did things backward, and our son was 6 months old when we got married. He had some significant medical issues at the time which prevented us travelling with him (and my wife wouldn't leave him behind), so we skipped the formal honeymoon. I just took two weeks off work and we honeymooned in our new house. We will do our honeymoon someday when the kids get old enough to be able to stay with family for extended amount of time (we have 3 now!).
 
How in the heck do you post a video in a post so the video shows in the post and not just the link. Tried copying url but it didnt work? Kind of new to forum posting, sorry.

I hope all is well now and I have a feeling it will mean more once you can fully enjoy it. (And I'm sure you were able to make some fun memories in a new house on your 'honeymoon')

The one thing i never could understand about new jersey is you can't turn anywhere you have to get off at the next exit that wraps around that is kind of annoying haha

Ugh. My wife and I both got the Eris on launch-weekend and were both stoked for getting a cheaper but still-cool smartphone. Then a few days went by and we realized we hated it. Unfortunately I waited til after the 14 day period, so had to shell out full retail for the OG Droid. Sold my Eris to some poor bastard for $250 though. My wife suffered along with her Eris (which she hated) until the iPhone came out and now she never wants to touch another phone again.

well kudos to samsung for fixing an flawed issue they had with the original galaxy s, i remember when i first got my captivate, it would lock for first days , then after that it never really locked that well. Now its hit or miss sometimes it will work sometimes it wont.

Soooooo true. I was just in Virginia a couple weeks ago and drove my mother and aunt crazy cause I would purposely miss turns every once in a while just because I knew I could make a left ahead!

LOL all you jersey people look lost when you pull up to a left turn signal!

True story:

I was driving through pennsyltucky a few years back and pulled into a gas station. As I was putting the pump into my tank I hear "Hey! do yous know howda work dis ting?" I looked up and saw a guy staring back at me and said "what?!" He responded back "Howdoya work dis ting?!" pointing at the gas pump.

I looked down and saw that his license plate said he was from NJ....:p:p:p

Welcome back, folks. Just wanted to let you boys and girls know that I am taking a sabbatical for the rest of the week from posting. My workload is tremendous for this upcoming trial, and I’ve been way too consumed and it’s not good. I’ll be on PM still (in case anyone cares, or if any of the mods wants to give me a belated spanking), but you shan’t see my ugly mug til Monday. Ta ta, it was a pleasure!

NJ gas is sooo cheap and its all full service , i am not from jersey but i am jealous of that :-)

I love pulling into a gas station out of state (farther than NY, PA, CT because they know we know how to do it) and watching all the men kinda staring expectantly at me to ask for help. And then looking at the one or two who are legitimately shocked when I have managed to pump my own gas, and not wear it.
And our prices are usually better than surrounding areas.

Get your priorities straight. Delegate power of attorney to some stranger off the street to do the signing on your house closing, and GET YOUR A$$ TO THE VZW STORE TO BUY THE NEXUS!
