I will most likely be catching up on the thread. I have to do the grocery shopping tonight for thanksgiving and the day after and know I will be behind after that. So I'll be here!

Hey now, it's a simple Flip camcorder with no tripod :) It focused the best it was able. Later videos should be a bit better ;)

Same boat different paddle. I'm thinking of going to get it tonight, and see if I like if for 14 days. $30 a month for unlimited data and 100 minutes that I won't even use all the way sounds good to me.
 
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I'm not about to attempt to read over 35000 post to find out.

Is there any word on an official release date for this phone? Cost with/without contract? Accepting pre-orders?

Also I've read people complaining about the Pentile screen comparing it to the Bionic. The Bionic uses a RGBW pentile screen, giving it a "screen door" effect under some conditions. Samsung uses a RGBG pentile for the AMOLED screen, making the "screen door" effect mush less noticable...
 
I'm turning to alcohol in order to supplant my phone addiction.

Surprisingly, my productivity has actually gone up. I guess drunken work is still more productive than playing with/reading about phones.

Although Monday may not be a rumor, or even at some point was a solid date, as we've clearly seen (and heard) the date is still very fluid.

I came on here late last night to see all kinds of posts saying "this is it!" regarding the 21st. I get optimism, but can we start adding "IMO" when we are merely speculating and have no real proof? :). It will save all of us the anguish of another missed "this is it" date. I should have followed my gut on all the hype last night.

Well, there were at least 3-4 of us here who got information that the 21st was it. So, yeah, no official announcement, but some VZW stores and upper management, etc were confirming/stating the 21st as the release.

My source (friend of a friend) had said "Black Friday", but then said the 21st, BUT did qualify that by saying the upper management had been "going back and forth" on the date. I guess that was either internal rumors or it was "week of 11/21" which is why he said by/on Black Friday.

I think I'm going to step back from this thread for a while. I'm starting to believe the "mid December" rumors, which, if true, means I will go insane in the next month. So as much as I want to contribute to post count, I'm not sure I can take it anymore.
 
The good thing about the weekends is I don't obsess about the Nexus, but Fantasy Football instead. So I trade my crack in on the weekends for just some basic prescription pain killers.
 
I agree that some reps no zilch. I went in a store on monday night to check out the razr and rezound. When the guy greeted me I said I was there to check out the new phones he said oh well we have 2 the bionic and the razr. I was like what about an htc phone and he was like nope. Then I found it on display on the other side of the store he was like oh I didn't know this was coming.
 
I guess it's safe to say that if the phones don't come in today they won't have them for monday? They probably won't get them on a sunday, no deliveries, and it would be tough to get them to every store monday morning before they open. Unless they do a web release on monday, I can't see having one in my hands then. :(

That's the joke right? I think a lot of is are still using our stock Droids, heck, that's the main reason I'm waiting so long to upgrade, finally get another stock phone! Anyway, welcome! Lets make this the biggest most epic thread in Android history. Lurkers, unite! (and sign up!!!)
