Eek, that hurts to look at. I may actually go with a case this time around. I usually let me phone go naked because I prefer to retain the original form of the phone (also to add less bulk).

Hope you all had a good thanksgiving. Everyday im falling more and more in love with the phone and the effect it has on people when i pull it out is a long the lines of, "Wow!" Hopefully you get your lot soonish, i cant wait to see what ROMs etc people are cooking up. This should be a goodun!

Please explain this picture. Is it saying 50% of battery usage came from the screen?
 
All I have to say today is....If you have waited this long there is no reason to give in to temptation and get something else. Good things come to those who wait.

Mornin. Today is the day I put my Xoom up for sale in anticipation for the Asus Transformer Prime which happens to be releasing the same day and week of the Galaxy Nexus. That will be a great week for new tech devices in my little hands. :D

I called Sammy about a warranty on it and they seemed completely nonplussed about it. Said a screen replacement would be "something like $450". I paid less for the damn thing at Staples.
Fortunately, our Flyer (which I got for $99 at Best Buy :D) is a solid tab for portability. Don't really miss HC, but the screen on the 10.1 was excellent.

Edit: And I childishly vowed to the CSR from Sammy that my Droid has been dropped countless times and I'd never buy a Samsung device every again. Guess I'll have to swallow up that promise :o

That would be my worry. Not being able to combine that with other offers. You can always make multiple purchases I guess if they don't allow you to combine them.

That's my thoughts. If they won't use the voucher for the Nexus then I'll use it on a battery or dock
 
I wrote verizon an email yesterday saying how upset I was about the ad that came out yesterday and how I was up for renewel and the at&t skyrocket looked very nice. Well they decided to call me today but they still had no info to give. They just said I'm a very loyal customer and they'd hate to lose me so when I do upgrade, I should call her. She didn't say if I'd get a discount but I hope! Also she said thy knew about the ad and a lot of people are frustrated over it. She couldn't give me any more info. Kinda lame, I know.

See if you can get them to offer you a discount on accessories or money off your bill if you talk to them again. This is what they did for me after all the problems I had with the HTC Droid Incredible.
 
Morning all! Hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving weekend :) Still holding out some vain hope we'll see Nexus news from Verizon on the 29th, but it seems unlikely if they've redone the train ad. Oh well.

PS. Congrats to 3vil on breaking the all-time thanks record. :p
