I called Verizon back with the CH4GE code you posted and got the $100 3G to 4G discount added to my account. He asked me where I got it and o told him a friend got it in a mailer they sent out. :)

Edit: And FWIW the guy told me it will be out on Friday.

Just a follow up:

It is possible to get this. I spoke to a very nice gentleman named Carlos on the phone and explained to him the situation, He gladly said I fit into the catagory (I live in Phoenix so I dont lol) and graciously placed a note which he read out-loud to me that the store should see and grant...

Hopefully this thursday!

Oh it's a lot for me, too. First year out of college, student loans to pay off, getting married next summer. That's why I'll be calling Verizon every hour tonight. Hoping to score $50 LivingSocial, $100 3G to 4G, and my $50 NE2 credit for a final price of $125 + tax.
 
I full expect someone on the east coast to PM me or send me a Tweet Thursday morning and let me know if Best Buy is selling the Nexus. That is if it isn't on the website Thursday at midnight. :)
 
Called once about the rebate - nope no such thing, must be a third party thing.

Called again, much nicer girl - yep I see that in our system right here. :)

I asked if it could be applied to my account. She said that she can note the offer in my account but cant really apply it. Sounded like I would have to go to a corporate store too, which i have none within 45 minutes. Does anyone know if the authorized retailers would be able to apply the rebate? May not be worth the drive after gas/time.

I was able to get them to note it in my account (I'm in California), but she did say I should bring the mailer with me. Not sure if she also mentions that in the notes or not. :confused:

Don't know if anyone answered this yet. If so, sorry. My upgrade is the 28th. I called last week to complain that my incredible has been acting up since the update (very frequent low memory error, random reboots, etc...) I told her I wanted to upgrade to a 4g phone when it was time but since I was having problems due to "their" upgrade I wanted to know if it was possible to move it up now. I told her I was waiting for the nexus, she said that they could move the date up but there were two catches. One was that I wouldn't get the $30 discount, I would have to pay full upgrade price ($299). The other was that I had to buy it over the phone with her. She said they order it as an "exception". She basically sunk my plan. I was going to have them move my date up, then wait for the phone and buy at Best Buy ($250+ store credit). I may give it one more shot but I will most likely wait till December 28th now. I suggest calling and complaining about technical difficulties. Should hopefully work in your favor, especially if you have an incredible and blame it on the recent update. Good luck.

No offense to the source or anyone. But we have no more confirmation today than we have for any other day. Please just stop messing with people and hyping this up. There have been at least 4 dates that you have said confirmed before. I don't have time to sift thru hundreds of pages of posts and I kind of live by the title/updates. So it's a giant bummer to see a title like that only to see that the same person that confirmed 2 other dates is now confirming a 3rd.

This is how the rep said he found it. I talked to 2 other CSRs in the past who had no idea what I was talking about. Below is a screenshot of the text the rep sent to me. From what he told me, this seems to be something they are running for most everyone. Also I was told that it expires on the 31st, not the 25th

I got denied via email for the $100 off. She said it was for Chicago only. That's strange considering I'm seeing people outside of Chicago getting it. :rolleyes: i don't know if I should try again or not. Anyone in NC have any luck with this?
