Just got mine overnighted through Customer Service, with a one month early upgrade since they wouldn't do that in the store. Good enough :) Going to hold off on the extended battery until we test things out.

ITS NEXUS DAY EVERYONE!!

I have to wait 3 and half hours till the Verizon store opens in AZ! Anyone have opinions on screen protectors? Is there a difference in brands or are they all basically the same? Thanks in advance!

Whats up everyone we finally made it! This thread might be locked by the time I can post again so I just wanted to thank everyone, Steven, OTD, Earlymon and the other mods, as well as han solo for trying to get info from his sis and everyone else who made the thread so fun I'm sure we will cross paths in other threads about the phone!

Hope everyone gets on today and nobody misses out due to stock issues!
 
EEEEEEKKK, such an exciting time. Merry Nexmas to all. This thread has provided me countless hours of enjoyment, and heck think I found someone who lives by me to be my first beam......and her boyfriend is just going to have to watch and like it too lol.
 
Arrrgh! All the corporate stores in Tucson have early openings every day this week -- Except Thursday! And, I have a meeting I can neither avoid nor postpone this morning. This is, somehow, a fitting end to this most frustrating (albeit somewhat entertaining) of launches.

For those that cannot get to a store today, I wasn't positive I could slip out today and after talking to the store rep last night who wouldn't confirm how many units available he had, I decided to order online and do overnight shipping . Phone is 249.99 online for those upgrading, not 299.99 and FWIW I entered the CH4GE code in for a promo and it popped up that I was eligible for additional promo, but wouldn't elaborate further. We will see I guess in the weeks to come if I indeed receive a gift card or something.
 
So, anyone that signed up for it, have you received any sort of email from Verizon touting the Nexus? I know I haven't and wanted to see if I was the exception or the rule.

I just don't understand. Why bother providing such a system, if you have no intentions of using it. I know this isn't the first time they have done this.
 
Heading out to pick up my phone. For those of you'd willing to wait a day, Amazon has it for $199 for new contract, and $249 for upgrade. No tax and no activation save a lot too.
 
Great to see everyone so close to getting there phones, unfortunately I'm stuck at work and won't be picking the phone up until after 5 :(. Friend at Best Buy had them hold me a phone.... hoping they don't accidentally sell it!
