I had signed up for notification on 2 email accounts. First thing I checked this morning. Nothing. Great system, huh? :rolleyes:

Out of the three phones I've "signed up" for, I have received 1 email. A couple weeks after release. Agreed ... Another vzw mystery.
 
Happy Nexmas! No corp store opens til 10 est. 1.5 hours MORE of slacking at work. Everytime I try to walk away, the forum just pulls me back in.

Volumes not as bad as people make out. Id does get muffled when the phone is facing screen up because the speaker is on the back. I think its just the notification tones are at a low volume.

But I went to the sturbridge Verizon. I figured that would be my best chance. Badger is from here also!!!

Most of us will be far too busy with our Nexi to post much anyway. My store opens at 9 AM CST, so I leave in about 90 minutes to play with Nexus, RAZR and ReZound side-by-side (and to make sure I am first in line for Nexus) and to listen to my son complain about how his Eris so desperately needs replacing... and how I so desperately need to buy HIM a Nexus too so we can beam together.

HA! I say again.... HA! Get off the video games, son, and get a JOB! ;)

So let's go get our Nexi!

Now I am getting nervous. Got my appointment all set up.

BUT, what if the thrill of the hunt was more fun than the tropy at the end?

What if it ends up being like the Bionic?? :eek: I really thought I HAD to have that one too. It is the only big new and best release phone that I actually went in to the store, had my hands on and just went neh. Doesn't do it for me.

What if all this waiting and hoping and excitement and the phone is a total dud?? Is that even possible?

Someone slap some sense into me!!
 
First in line, but there are literally like 100+ people here mall walking! I knew NH was one of the oldest states, but this is ridiculous!

PS It took me 20 minutes to post this on my intercept. No joke.

I too, was cranked up for the bionic. The second I saw it, and that hideous screen, I was over it.

Held the nexus last night.... Did NOT have the same feeling. :D

I'm pretty sure you'll be happy.
 
Couple things. First, the obligatory "goodbye and thank you". Much respect to the mods, guides, sources, and the little people. See you all in the other threads.

Anybody in Omaha going this morning? I don't expect long lines, I'll be surprised if four or five people are waiting.

How is the unlocking and rooting going? I plan to do that right away, barring any problems popping up.

See you on the other side!
 
Someone came walking up from the back parking lot, so I quick walked up to the door. They were just walking through though, Haha.

Thank goodness I decided to order online and get it tomorrow since I'm off work Friday. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to focus on anything else. Well, not that I can now since all I can think about is the delivery.
