Just tried to call and get more details, but the CDMA department is closed for the day =( I will try back tomorrow.

On the phone with them right now and they're giving me a hard time. They're not placing my order saying that they cant sell me a Nexus One sleeve if I dont have a Nexus One device.

EDIT: Had to call back again and this time I had to LIE to them saying that I am ordering sleeves as a gift for a relative who has a set of N1 devices. They refuse to sell you a sleeve if you tell them you have an Incredible.

I just ordered mines. When I tried to order it though, he asked for my IMEID and I told him I had an Incredible, not the N1. He said, "Do you want the Incredible's pouch instead?"

I asked him what it looked like, but he couldnt describe it to me. So I ordered the N1's pouch.

Now... my question is: Does anyone have any idea what the Incredible's pouch looks like? :) I wasnt brave enough to order one...

Yea I'd love one! Right now I'm using a Sena N1 case and while the fit is passable the N1's curvy bottom and sides give the case a shape that isn't quite a perfect match for the Incredible.

On another note... I bought an N1 neoprene case from HTC today without issue. Just call them and tell them you want to buy a replacement sleeve for your N1 and they'll hook you up for $14! I called back a second time and it was actually offered to me for free but buy then the order had been placed.

I told them I had an Incredible and just wanted the Nexus One sleeve, they had no problem whatsoever selling it to me.

You got lucky.. I ended up getting transferred 4 times and had to wait on hold about 5 to 10 mins each time. I finally got to the accessory dept where this lady with a crappy attitude said she wouldnt place my order since I dont have a N1.. ended up talking to her supervisor who also said the same thing and went on to say some stupid crap about how the phone might not fit the sleeve properly and if it slips out and breaks they cannot be held liable for it. I had to hang up on her and call back in where I ended up talking to a rep that was a little nicer than the two bitches I spoke with the first time around but this time I didnt tell him I had an Incredible. I told him that I was buying a set of sleeves for a relative who owns the N1's so I dont have the IMEI's.

Duh, it never occurred to me to mix and match my cases, but after seeing a post here a day or so ago did so.
I really like the look of my VZW red-black gradient case. However, I do sometimes need a holster and wanted one that mounts the phone faced in to protect screen so also got the VZW shell case. I thought I'd have to be swapping cases when I needed the holster. Turns out the phone with the gradient case on instead of the shell case fits perfectly in the shell case holster.

Hi, just wondering, on the Verizon site, it looks like the belt clip is attached to that case...how do you attach the holster to the gradient case? - I also love the red/black gradient case, and need a holster...
thks

Weird, you sound like you'd be a real pleasure to talk to =P

Let's try to make this clear to everyone

The Seidio 1750mah battery is the exact same size as the OEM battery and will charge while in your phone.

People are getting confused with what i said. The Seido 1750 for the Eris/Incredible no gap. The Seidio 1750 for the TP2( someone asked about) there is a gap. Iam done with this believe or not i really dont care:D

Something I noticed this morning that surprised me but made sense I guess. For the first time, I charged the seidio battery in the phone rather than in the desktop charger. And voila, when I unplugged it the battery started at 99% and then dropped to 92% with one call and couple emails.

That was the same problem I had with charging the oem in the phone! Needless to say I wasn't happy so I pulled the oem charger off the desktop charger and put in the phone. And for the first time ever it showed a 100% charge and stayed there for 30 minutes before dropping to 99%.

So the moral of the story appears to be that the desk charger will give you a better charge than plugging in the phone. At least for me.

Turn off your phone when its charging...same idea.

Weird. It would seem that 100% charged no matter how it charged is still 100%...I mean, my DI shows fully charged at 100% before I unplug it...don't understand but if it seems better to you then that's all that counts!

my seidio 1750 is coming in 2 days.

It was easy to see past the misleading statements and find the real world results.

thx

If you want the battery to charge fully turn the phone off to charge turn it back on when its done. it will falsely charge to 100 when its on, but when you turn the phone off the led will turn orange again and it will charge more.

I tried this and my battery still dropped from 100% to 93% within minutes of being unplugged and turned on. So I don't think this is the problem.

If I have this correctly the TO2 and Hero use the same battery, correct? Well, i swapped batteries with my gf's Hero and the battery was a bit bigger, it created a buldge that made the cover harder to shut and left a gap.

I think the batteries that come with the phone are bad, defective or something. Or the charging mechanism in the phone is faulty somehow. I have no scientific evidence, obviously, but that's my gut feeling. Verizon and/or HTC will never admit it though because replacements would break the bank. A discount for people who want to buy the 2100mah extended battery would be nice though.

It's very strange. My phone has been unplugged for 6 hours. Within the first hour, it dropped to 90% and since then only another 10% drop.

Wish we could figure out what the issue is.

I believe the explanation is that 90-100% is the longest is takes to charge and therefore the fastest to discharge (at least by percentage rating).

Can we get someone to install juice plotter from the appstore and post a screen shot? That app is awesome and plots the usage of the battery over time and shows when it is plugged in. This should make it easy to verify some of the claims made in this thread. I really hope they are accurate. I'll be receiving my battery sometime next week. :)

Agree 100%.

I don't care if the battery makes the back of my phone looks like Lemmy from Motorhead, as long as I can get through an entire day of heavy use without having to disable everything on the phone.

Those battery life saving threads are great and I appreciate the effort put into them, but why the hell would you buy this phone if you are just going to turn off all the G.D. features that are the reason you bought the thing to begin with?

QFT.

I look forward to this 2150 and I can't wait to put the drain on that bad boy. A new toy isn't quite as fun when you keep draining the batteries. I feel more comfortable with an OEM battery, anyway.

Once I started turning off GPS only when I dont need it my battery life turned into what I expected it to be from the start. This is the first Android I have had to turn anything off but the stock battery is unacceptable. By the looks of it its not even made specifically for this phone like most all other HTC phones. You can tell because of the two thumbnail catches on the side that are unusable. My G1 and Eris both only had the catches where the provided slot was. This was a stupid way to increase the bottom line in my option. I call shame on Verizon for this. I think HTC knows better but Verizon is stuck on charging 199 for smartphones and couldn't subsidize the cost with the larger battery. the other stupid thing about this is if Verizon had given us a bigger battery they would have charged us 250 for a slight increase. least this way we can spend the 50 on a considerably larger battery than we would have gotten and we have a backup battery. So I guess win win.

After heavy use today, my battery just went yellow after I unplugged at 8AM. I'm using live wallpapers, occasionally using Wifi, lots and lots of texting today via google voice (maybe 30+), a bit of web surfing during meetings, some google maps when I couldn't find the bar my friend was at... and now at 2:30AM, it just went into yellow. I also installed Mobile Defense today and Skyfire on battery power. I also did a number (15) of emails, couple of FriendSteam updates, and calendar adds.

Truth be told, still not quite as good battery life as my iPhone 3G but definitely not bad and this is just my third or fourth cycle.

This is on the original battery.

Ya, I think the 1mm rumor is something that has spread and was morphed from the original .100 inch (2.54mm) rumor, which is more likely, but still pretty small.

I just took my OEM battery out to measure it.

Thickness is about 0.175 inch (varies due to paper)
Length: 2.57 inch
Width: 1.725

Volume: 0.776 in^3
Ampere-hours: 1300 mAh

or A-h/Vol. = 1675 mAh/in^3

If we assume the same energy density of the extended battery, with the same length and width,

(2150 mAh / ( (1675 mAh/in^3)*1.725in*2.57in) ) = Thickness = 0.290 inch

So the extended battery will be about 0.290 inches thick, for a difference of 0.115 inches (2.9mm)
over the stock battery

Add in the current thickness of the Incredible, 0.48 inch (12.2mm), the extended battery will increase the thickness by about 24%, for a 65% increase in battery power.

This is not fact, just an exercise in estimation based on our current knowledge.

This is much more likely then the 1mm addition in thickness. I'd love just 1mm though. I put 1mm worth of card stock between my phone and the Verizon High Gloss Silicone case and it still fit fine.

I ordered mine at Seidio for following reasons...1750 power, stock size... got 10%off with MOM10 coupon. I love the Incredible for it being thin and don't want additional bulkiness. :)
