Just called back using 1-888-216-4736 (straight to Nexus One support) then pressed Option 1. I ordered the sleeve, no questions asked! Well, I was asked if I have a Nexus One and when I said I didn't, the lady just said "All right, no problem"!

I asked for the order number and she said she sent an email. Still haven't got that yet though.

Ok I just tried calling the "CDMA Parts" number to get more details for the "Incredible-specific" pouch, but they did not have any. They said maybe they were referring to some third-party pouches. Then when I called the original number back (listed above) she asked for my phone ID as others have mentioned; NOT like the guy yesterday. She seemed confused but after explaining to her I just wanted to buy the pouch by itself as an accessory and that I did NOT have the phone, she went ahead and sold it to me.

Also, she gave me this phone number which she says is the accessory-specific phone number and much less likely to give you a hassle about whether you have an N1:

888-716-3594

Thats the same number the OP posted which gave me a hassle the first time around.

recieved my Seido today. I will be posting testing results in the thread in my signature. for now I will xpost here as well, but for full context see my signature (and contribute please!)

I just received the Seido 1750 battery this morning. I will be testing this using the same procedure as outlined above over the next week to compare performance vs the stock battery. once I get to 6 or 7 full cycles on the Seido, it will be a fair apples:apples comparison with my test above.

today, I recieved the Seido. it arrived 67% charged. I charged it to 100%, then left it plugged in for an additional hour.

using the same exact video test as described above, I played video for 2.5 hours and the battery was down to 65%. this indicates I could get just over 7 hours of video on the Seido, a 30% improvement over stock.

again, I will update this as I continue to condition my battery over the next week.

Just got off the phone with a rep. She asked if I had a nexus one, I said I had an incredible. She put me on hold for a few minutes to check, she she said that she cannot sell it to me because of liabilities. They know that there are website stating that it would work, but she gave me number of a manufacturer that makes cases for Verizon. :T I might still try to call back again later.

If you have to lie to get one, I say go for it. "It's a gift for my uncle who lost his, so I donno his phone id..."

Ok I did it! I called back, used the ebay excuse as well also said that it was on its way so I did not have the serial numbers. Worked great, ordered 2 of them. :D

Took the images from the PDF and put them side by side for Comparison.
Doesnt look like much of a difference.

If anything I would assume one would be deeper than the other, so it really wouldn't look much different from a top down view. Again, just speculation... i just wouldn't see why they would supply another back if the battery didn't fit the OEM backing

i ordered mine on monday. just told them i wanted to get the nexus one case for my incredible. came in the mail today. like others have said, fit is perfect. top corners do not stick out.

I heard someone is working on this extended battery for the Incredible...

44,000mAh and it only adds 175mm to your device. You get ~20 days, give or take, between charges with moderate to heavy data use, or 3 months standby time.

This is so damn funny, thanks for the laugh, I am interested to see what battery everyone goes with, everyone I know that has this phone is complaining about the battery, but I have a car charger and a house charger, so...I use them and never have a problem or a scare that I will lose my lifeline until I can get to a plug in! lol...

Sweet. I ordered it yesterday morning without any problems whatsoever. Hopefully will get it Monday or Tuesday if the speed at which you got it is any indication.

From the looks of it...dont' really need any other case right? Just a full screen protector? Does it looks like it "cleans" the smudges when you put it in? Does it look like it will fit with the extended battery and the newer back (about 1mm thicker if our guesses are right)

Its snug right? So no worries about a small drop?

allen2oo3: Is it a loose fit? Does it come out when turned upside down? Can you take pictures from the top (to see the phone in it)? I just ordered mine and I can't wait to get it! I have the high gloss black silicone case as well but I wanted this sleeve as a supplement. It would be great if the Incredible fits in the sleeve with the silicone case on it.

Looks like the way to go is:

--OEM extended battery
--screen protector
--N1 sleeve instead of finding a new case to accommodate the larger battery

Can anyone who has the sleeve take a shot from straight overhead (opening of the sleeve) so I can see how far down the top of the DI sits? Maybe, if you could also take the overhead shot at an angle.

i'm currently not using any other case with it. all i have is a zagg that will be replaced with an anti-glare screen protector when they are available. doesn't really seem like it cleans smudges from inserting in/out. it is snug, if i hold it upside down the phone does not fall out. if i shake it a few times, it will begin to slip a little. i wouldnt think there would be any problems with an extended battery since the case is made of neoprene which is naturally a little stretchy. if anything, it'll give it an even more snug fit. ordered monday, got my tracking number tuesday. it ships from htc's office in Houston, TX via fedex ground

edit: sit tight for a few pics

Thats great, almost double the capacity of the stock battery. However I have never tried a 3rd party battery (even back in my BB days). I always had a weird trust issue with them (not from experience, completely me being anal). I will be very interested in seeing how people fair with it though.

After reading the link the one guy posted on here I don't blame you, most of the 3rd party batteries he tested only got like 60-80% of what they claimed in Mah....

I'd be really surprised if the backing was not the same just deeper. VZW definitely had a say so in designing the back and I would find it hard to believe they would sell anything that made the phone look big and bulky. I bet they get some returns on body glove cases as I don't think it will fit with any added thickness.
