Just got off the phone with a rep. She asked if I had a nexus one, I said I had an incredible. She put me on hold for a few minutes to check, she she said that she cannot sell it to me because of liabilities. They know that there are website stating that it would work, but she gave me number of a manufacturer that makes cases for Verizon. :T I might still try to call back again later.

Yeah just call back until you get someone else, dont even tell them you have an incredible. Just tell them that you're getting the case for a friend who lost his case and you dont have his IMEI.

If the extended battery was really 1mm thicker (half the size of a nickle) couldn't you cram the original back cover, back on?

Do we have to keep bringing up the ramblings of this asshat?

Just sayin'...

Right. And I should just completely ignore the fact that my Seidio is at 90% after being unplugged for 8 hours.

Ignore? No. Realize that it's probably only slightly better than the OEM TP2 battery for twice the price? Yes.

lol abandoning the scientific method for anecdotal evidence

At least it's not Mugen.

are the seidio batteries lithium or lithium polymer. depending on the type that could effect the size of the battery as well as a polymer cell array may be different than a base array for standard lithium batteries. This would help reason as to why the seidio 1750 is the same size as the stock htc battery.

There is no "Cell Array" these are all single cell LiPo's. These are all also Lithium Ion batteries. You will not find a traditional "LION" battery this thin. If it is this thin it IS LiPo...

"Cells sold today as polymer batteries are pouch cells. Unlike lithium-ion cylindrical cells, which have a rigid metal case, pouch cells have a flexible, foil-type (polymer laminate) case. In cylindrical cells, the rigid case presses the electrodes and the separator onto each other; whereas in polymer cells this external pressure is not required because the electrode sheets and the separator sheets are laminated onto each other."

Lithium-ion polymer battery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I for one applaud the "AssHat's" attempt at science.. but his data set is just too small...

So, you're telling someone who buys a different battery and see's significant increase, that they have abandoned science for anecdote. Yet, you offer neither science or direct experience to support your statements.

Even if one were to accept your assertions, that he gained only slightly more battery life than a battery that others are claiming gains slightly more than the OEM battery. He's potentially bought the longest-life battery on the market that can fit with the OEM back and he's happy with it so far.

Yeah, what a waste.

I am really surprised by the bad experiences people are reporting. I called at 8:15 (even though they close at 8) and someone picked up right away and could not have been nicer. They asked if I had a N1, I said "No, I just want the pouch" and that was that. I had an e-mail confirmation while I was still on the phone with him.

I called 888-216-4736 then Option 1

Just got off the phone with Verizon. The rep actually saw the 2150 MAH battery and cover available at $59.99, just when he was about to actually place the order it didnt let him. Darn... But at least that proves that its right around the corner..

Yeah, what a waste.

What's wrong with this again?
BatteryBoss Calls Out False Capacity Claims!

And, yeah, Seidio charging $55 for what is at most 1500 mAh is a waste in my opinion, but that's for people who buy it to scientifically decide. If a manufacturer routinely puts out batteries that are around 80% of their rating, something's fishy is going on, and I don't think it's the person testing them.

You guys can convince yourselves that you've made the right purchase, but I'd rather stick with the numbers until someone proves them wrong.

Dont be surprised.. you run into good and bad people every day. (not that they're bad people for refusing your order, just jerks).

I just called and it was a million questions!!!! Told him i bought it from a friend, they wanted his name email phone number.!!! arg just hung up

You should try being honest first and just saying you don't have the phone. If taht doesn't work, then come up with a lie, but make it a better lie than that one :P

RRRRRRRRRRRR She couldn't find my city coeue d' alene. so she put 6 $14.99 holds on my damn credit card and im not getting this.. ****

I had one with my N1 and it saved it from a long drop once so I was pleased. I just ordered mine with no problem. Rep said he hadn't done many of them so it took 10 minutes or so, but no big deal.

I don't know why anyone is having problems.

My call was nice and simple. Got a really nice guy on the phone. Just received my FedEx notification and it will be arriving on Wed.

So my setup is going to be this case... Steinheil Crystal screen protector.. With the OEM extended battery. Just put my 16 gig class 6 in it... Picked up the OEM car dock today as well.

Really seems like we are all getting our setups piece by piece. Having to baby it along the way.

Well, she called me back, talked to a supervisor and got it all worked out!!! had to transfer money from saving to checking to cover it because of the $90 pending charges! but alas, its on its way!

Of course the people who were able to order it right away wouldn't understand why some of us have had problems! First person I got said I wasn't allowed to order it without a Nexus One and the second person let me order it, no questions asked. It all depends on who you get.

It just baffles me why 1. this case wasn't shipped with the Incredible (or a modified version of it) and 2. why it isn't available for everyone to purchase, surely they'd make money off it!

Now that we found an awesome pouch! who is going to get the 2150 battery? I might, but not really having problems with loss of battery. hmm

I ordered two today. They asked me for my IEMI number, or whatever it is, and I said I don't have one. I just want to order the cases. He said ok and that was that.

I am definitely getting the 2150 extended battery to go along with this. I think it will be an awesome setup. Screen protector of your choice + nexus one sleeve + extended battery.

Yep. Same as my setup is going to be. If you are going to go for the Steinheil Crystal

hopefully this helps. first pic is side by side and the rest of the pics, the phone is in the case.

That really looks amazing. I would love to get one, but I have to ask... how snug is it? I plan on getting the larger extended OEM batter from Verizon and it is going to add a little heft. I'm wondering if it'll just fit more snug or if it just won't fit at all. =X 4mm doesn't seem like a whole lot (that is what the battery is going to add... I think), but I'd just like to check.

without having the extended battery to test with, i cant give you a positive answer. However, i just taped 5 standard size credit/debit cards to the back of the inc. and had no problem fitting it in the case. the neoprene stretches to accommodate the size.
