Ya, I think the 1mm rumor is something that has spread and was morphed from the original .100 inch (2.54mm) rumor, which is more likely, but still pretty small.

I just took my OEM battery out to measure it.

Thickness is about 0.175 inch (varies due to paper)
Length: 2.57 inch
Width: 1.725

Volume: 0.776 in^3
Ampere-hours: 1300 mAh

or A-h/Vol. = 1675 mAh/in^3

If we assume the same energy density of the extended battery, with the same length and width,

(2150 mAh / ( (1675 mAh/in^3)*1.725in*2.57in) ) = Thickness = 0.290 inch

So the extended battery will be about 0.290 inches thick, for a difference of 0.115 inches (2.9mm)
over the stock battery

Add in the current thickness of the Incredible, 0.48 inch (12.2mm), the extended battery will increase the thickness by about 24%, for a 65% increase in battery power.

This is not fact, just an exercise in estimation based on our current knowledge.

Ur not considering the fact that there are 1750 mah batteries the same size as the 1300 and 1500

Which is what I was going to say about the 1750 being the same size as stock: it's possible the Seidio weighs more (is denser) or is more energy-dense (same weight, but more energy storage).

This would make slightly more sense (hehe). The seidio 3500 adds 3-4mm to thickness of the Eris, as we go from 1300 to 3500. Thats about 2 nickels in thickness more than the phone currently.

Going from 1300 to 2150 I would think would add half as much, say in the neighborhood of 1.5 to 2mm. I could definitely live with that. Any thicker, I'll stay with the 1750 I currently have.

are the seidio batteries lithium or lithium polymer. depending on the type that could effect the size of the battery as well as a polymer cell array may be different than a base array for standard lithium batteries. This would help reason as to why the seidio 1750 is the same size as the stock htc battery.

Can we get someone to install juice plotter from the appstore and post a screen shot? That app is awesome and plots the usage of the battery over time and shows when it is plugged in. This should make it easy to verify some of the claims made in this thread. I really hope they are accurate. I'll be receiving my battery sometime next week. :)

Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk

I just installed the app and will report back in a few hours with a screenshot.

**Note I still have the standard OEM battery in my device**

Glad to hear most everyone enjoying the Seido battery. I'm still holding out for the 2150 from VZW. Any reason for getting the 1750 and not the 2150 other than patience. :)

The 2150 will require a new back door, the 1750 does not.

All of this is fine and dandy, but when is the 2150mah battery & cover REALLY coming out? Not buying that it is releasing within a few days. If it is, VZW know nothing about it.

No one really knows until the vendors ship the product out. Generally the associates at the store and the associates over the phone do not know much about when new accessories are being released. The only reason they know about new products is because, if the product is getting a big marketing push, a notice is sent out to all employees so that they are aware of the features, and sometimes even that isn't until the day before release.

Generally the only way we will find out the release date is if someone snoops around the inventory database to see when the warehouse is receiving the shipments of the product, but even then they would need to know the product listing title or the sku number.

Ordered 2 this morning, they didn't even ask me if I owned a Nexus One. Total $22 and got the e-mail invoice before I even hung up the phone.

I think the batteries that come with the phone are bad, defective or something. Or the charging mechanism in the phone is faulty somehow. I have no scientific evidence, obviously, but that's my gut feeling. Verizon and/or HTC will never admit it though because replacements would break the bank. A discount for people who want to buy the 2100mah extended battery would be nice though.

Not the oem battery, the 1750 does the same thing. Man I miss that3500 i had in the Eris. I think the battery meter on here its just whacked.

I was looking for something like this. I called and said I enacted to buy the pouch for a friend who had a Nexus One and lost their pouch that came with the phone. No issues.

Anyone know the number to call for Incredible accessories?

I ordered mine this morning. She asked for my nexus one serial number, but I just told her I didn't have one and I was just looking to purchase the sleeve. I also recieved my invoice email before she hung up.

just ordered mine...told her i bought an N1 on eBay and it didnt come with a case, i wanted one to protect it :) no issues at all! :) $14.99 shipped out today.

i am using a G1 slipcase for my incredible right now. i have the silicone case from verizon. i tried my gf's nexus one slipcase w/ my silicone case on and it was a pain in the ass to get back out. G1 slip fits nicely with the tiny added bulk from the silicone case.

I called the number the OP posted and was put through to Nexus One support. I wasn't allowed to purchase the sleeve without a Nexus One. Should I just keep trying? What if I asked someone who has a Nexus One for their IMEI number, or is that number associated with an address?

Weird, you sound like you'd be a real pleasure to talk to =P

Dont be so quick to jump in and imply that Im rude and displeasurable to speak with. I was just sharing my experience and frustration at the situation with you guys. The second time I called I got a rep that didnt give me any problems at all. It just depends on who you end up talking to. Check the last post before this... they were given a hard time ordering too.

And here you have it folks... like I said it depends on who you get on the phone.. some of them will give you a hard time and not let you order the sleeve.

Yes.. go ahead and keep calling back until you get someone who will place an order for you.

...this lady with a crappy attitude...went on to say some stupid crap...I had to hang up on her...I ended up talking to a rep that was a little nicer than the two bitches I spoke with the first time...
I couldn't care less, I'm sure this is no indication of your typical behavior. I was just commenting on the tone of your story.

Ok I just tried calling the "CDMA Parts" number to get more details for the "Incredible-specific" pouch, but they did not have any. They said maybe they were referring to some third-party pouches. Then when I called the original number back (listed above) she asked for my phone ID as others have mentioned; NOT like the guy yesterday. She seemed confused but after explaining to her I just wanted to buy the pouch by itself as an accessory and that I did NOT have the phone, she went ahead and sold it to me.

Also, she gave me this phone number which she says is the accessory-specific phone number and much less likely to give you a hassle about whether you have an N1:

888-716-3594

edit: i guess this is the same number in the OP, so it's your mileage may vary on how easy it is to order =\
