I dunno... I like my Zagg. There's absolutely zero orange peel effect...
Alright, I held it up to the light and I can see the orange peel effect but it isn't nearly as apparent as the photo linked above.

It really is all about preference. I like the tacky feel of the Zagg. These screen protectors are in a weird price zone where they aren't too expensive to buy but they are a bit too pricey to just toss out testing them.

You're right about the pricing issue...so annoying...I'd love to test them all out.

FWIW

I ordered both the anti-fingerprint and Crystal Clear.
Two of each showed up today at the office.

I started with the anti-fingerprint, because this is the one I really wanted.
Install was very easy, but I tore that sucker off in about two minutes.

For me the loss of clarity was too much for me.

Now rockin the CC and lovin it

I have heard that the crystal clear still reduces fingerprints a little over naked screen, have you noticed that at all? also how is the feel of the CC over naked screen? I use swype and really don't want more drag than the naked screen has.

yup, same problems here for me w/ the Body Glove. I'm considering returning it, but now I'm not sure if I can since I don't have the box either. I could just keep it and use it when I'm going to a Sox game or something like that. It's a great case (good grip, great protection), but it's just too damn bulky for everyday use IMO.

Hey guys, I just wanted to post up a quick solution to anyone using a Zagg screen who thinks it's a bit sticky....Turtle Wax! :D Put a little on my finger this morning, buffed it in, let it dry, then cleaned with a micro fiber rag. Pretty close to how it felt when it was just the glass screen. Plus the rain just beads right off now. :p

I have a Zagg because Best Buy gave it to me for free including installation. Well they made a $2 mistake on my CC and couldn't fix it.

You can't tell it's there when the screen is on.

If screen is off and you hold it on an angle in the light then you can notice it a little bit. But I don't have the major orange peel than many sites show.

I don't have any bubbles or marks and it fits the entire phone except for like 1mm at the bottom.

The worst part about it is that it is a touch sticky but it doesn't bug me because I have complete screen protection. It also decreases touch sensitivity just a little bit.

However, it is easier to keep clean then naked and doesn't get as 'fingerprinty' which balances out the stickiness con. You can just wipe it with your shirt quick and it doesnt matter if it's microfiber or not. I would only use a microfiber cloth on a naked screen and that can become tedious carrying around and keeping clean.

But I'm sure there are better ones out there and that the Zagg would be a bad experience if you don't have a guy who has done it a million times like I had.

I would only get a Zagg if you are willing to pay a pro to do it. I can't post a pic right now since not at home.

actually, the better link would be: GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!...

all Android related products can be found there:

Here's a pic of them in "Carbon Fiber", we have literally hundreds of color combinations you can choose, as we sell them as a kit or individual pieces.

Hey I already got it taken care of. Thank you though. I appreciate it.

Anyway, after using the Seidio for 3 charge cycles thus far, I am really impressed. I do not have any scientific data though. What I can say is that before I couldn't get through a full day, and now I can get through a full day with time to spare. Fits fine, no gaps whatsoever.

Glad it has been taken care of. If you have any question, just PM me.

I don't know why everyone is getting upset. If they are out of stock, they are out of stock. Incredibles are out of stock right now and no one is saying that HTC or Verizon sucks. They make a great product, that's why they are out of stock. I ordered mine the day they came out and I should have it tomorrow. Settle down.

Did HTC and Verizon build 100 phones to sell to their 80 million customers? I understand keeping inventory-on-hand minimal, but for a phone that's sold >150,000 units, I would have initially stocked at the very least 1000 units of each. 100 is dumb.

Interested to hear the answers to these as well.

100 screen protectors, lol. They probably cost all of .50 to make and yet they could only afford to spend $50-100 on their initial inventory? Not to mention they are not from the USA, its obvious by their horrible english. I don't know what to think. I bought one off ebay and will try it out, but come on. I'm thinking of starting a site to get in on the action, i mean i'd have no problem keeping 1000 or more of each screen protector instock even on my existing site. (qr code)

First of all, I'm sure it is more than $.50, probably closer to a buck or two. Secondly, there is the time and expense of designing a new template for each new phone. Shockingly, the DI is not the only phone that exists in the world, as there are dozens of other models, plus laptops and million other things they sell protectors for. The probably don't buy a new device for every product, as that would be really expensive, but they do for some, and that adds to the cost. If not, they have to track one down somehow, which is more time and money. Then there is the cost of tooling for the die that is used to cut these templates. That has to be paid for and built and amortized into the cost of each screen.

Tooling
Material costs
Research and Design costs
Marketing
Inventory
Shipping
Distribution

There are plenty of lead times and costs associated with product development. Those who don't know should quit complaining. Go buy another product if you are that upset about it.

But ya, only 100 units was probably dumb.
