HTC Droid Incredible Sync and Charge Desktop Cradle with Second Battery Slot

This I gotta see, makes no sense with the charging port of the phone on the left side near the bottom.

It may actually make sense, depending on what the hole on the bottom left of the DInc is for. I'm not talking about the microphone. This hole is not referenced in the manual and it is physically "just around the corner" from the micro-USB port so it could be a power-only port

Anyone know for sure?

when I called them last week, they had just received the shipment from the mfg; they said they hadnt looked at the items yet, so they had no idea if there was a connector on the dock, or, if a short cable would have to be connected to the phone each time you docked it.
they wont be selling these for 2 weeks at least, so keep looking elsewhere..

I believe it's a lanyard hole.

2nd microphone for noise cancellation?

I know this device has 2 microphone's.

It doesn't.

When you say 10% in 15 minutes do u mean the first 15 OR did your battery only last u about 3 hours? My batt is down to 85 % in about 30 mins but lasts me around 12
or 13 hours a day.
I meant in the first fifteen. The phone would generally last me about 5 hours. New one is still treating me well! Still may get the Seidio battery just to add a little extra juice however.

Unfortunately if you take the back of the incredible off, you will see it is simply a lanyard hole....

Look at how posting has dwindled to almost nothing since the merge.

I have a mental picture of a mob of people at night holding torches and Gaston shouting to them, "KILL THE BEAST!!!"

heheheh. I crack myself up. It's not easy being a forum guide.

I am definitely keeping my eye on this thread. Thanks for all the updates guys. I want a larger extended battery both for the extra life and because the phone is really small for my hands. The only thing that kills me right now is that I'm still holding out for a case for when I get a larger battery. Want something to fit my phone when I get it. Currently I just have my phone tucked in my pocket in a microfiber sunglass sock.

Great. Didn't want to get the Seidio one with the 2150 being the same price but I can't wait two months. I wonder why there is a delay...

I was really looking forward to the 2150mAh battery too. :( I see htcpedia has the 1500mAh but Verizon doesn't carry it in stores? If that time frame is correct, I guess I'll have to wait. I don't want to be purchasing another battery to upgrade for a larger capacity in a couple of months. Boo.

I wouldnt mind the back being a few millimeters thicker. I put the silicon case on here just to keep the lens protected. If the back cover were to add enough clearance to keep the camera lens safe i'd be happy.

I got the Seidio 1750 mAh battery and while it definitely is an improvement, it's not where I really would want the performance to be. Hopefully the 2150 battery gets released before July, because I'd love to pick that up ASAP.

Wow... this sucks cause I just returned my Seidio 1750 mAh -- couldn't get the results out of it that I could when I first got it (24 hours Up time, and 10+ hours Awake time) so just ordered the TP2 OEM extended 2150 mAh -- I'll let you all know how that works out. I am a heavy user and I need my Incredible to last long days (6:30am - 11:30pm) with no charger/recharge.

The TP2 1500mAh extended battery sounds promising, but for what I do with this little computer phone I need SO much more juice. I don't mind the extra heft or bigger battery door that's needed either.

Guess my incredible will be naked at the back for a while -- seeing red now!

mygearstore has the seido 1750 mah back in stock now. I got mine for $33 when they had that great sale. It was shipped yesterday so I should be getting it later this week.

So how do you plan on securing the battery in the phone if you wont have a back cover?
