I saw an HTC-branded leather belt clip / holster at BB for $30, and used my barcode reader app on it. It helped me find the same case online for less than $5. It's at this link:

Here are some pictures - works great with my Dinc and silicone cover! :D

They show different cases here that will let you use it with a silicone or snap on cover. HTC Droid Incredible Accessories: Cases, Pouches, Cases for Snap-Ons

I have this one. I must say it is well designed with all the functions of the phone lined up perfectly with the case. I wear jeans all the time and it is difficult to get in a pocket. I don't see how someone could make a silicone case any thinner than this, it is definitely form fitting. Not sure how much thicker the rubber one is but it might be easier to slip in and out of a pocket.

I would have to say this is the most slimmest and best case to use if you looking to carry your phone in a pocket. I actually have this one.

Does anyone know where you can get a replacement battery cover?

Why do you ask? Well, I like to have two covers. One of them I tape velcro on to the back. WHY? Well on NJ Transit buses, if you stick velcro to the back of the seat in front of you, it will stick on. Then I can watch tv/movies on my commute into the city everyday w/o needing to hold my phone. Pair that with my bluetooth and I have my own private theatre. I did this with my omnia.

Granted, it seems like if I replace the battery cover 1x a week on and off (I only keep the velcro covered one on on during the weekdays and then take it off on weekends to maintain slimness) i may over time loosen the effectiveness of the pieces that hold it in. the omnia was much more secure of a fit that could be done over and over.

anyway, its hard to find a replacement battery cover b/c the search terms always lead you to other things!

I've only found it here, and it's out of stock. Maybe call them to ask when they;re getting it back in stock. HTC Droid Incredible Battery Door Cover

Has anybody seen these in the stores yet? I think my Verizon store is getting sick of seeing me walk in to ask if they are in yet :)

Yeah I'd like to know when we can expect to see that too... I've been checking Verizonwireless.com and BestBuy periodically...

Does anyone know if we'll see a Body Glove for it? I like something with a clip that I can remove if needed...especially this phone because it doesn't fit as well in pockets due to it's greatness. I saw *a* Body Glove on ebay but $40 is a little outta my price range after shipping!

I had the Body Glove for my Eris, I accidentally dropped it and it broke but I took just the kickstand part and attached it to the back of the case for the phone and it worked great. When I sold the Eris the guy that bought it was amazed at my "invention" and loved it too. And when I got the Incredible I ordered just the Body Glove kickstand from Amazon for a whopping $1.98. I carefully attached it to the back of the case I use for the DI and it looks great and works fine. If you do it right and just use a spare amount of super glue, you will have a custom made kickstand.

I had silicon for my 6900 and had the pocket issue too. I'm having an easier time with the gradient.. (shell cover).

if i buy a 2150 Extended battery with the bigger case, what protective cases can i still use? also will it fit in the oem cardock/deskcharger/ect. ???
these are important questions that i have not seen answered yet.
it seems like we all want a larger battery, case protection, and (alot of us) car dock.
what options do we have as far as getting all of these working together?

thanks, good for future reference
i just called verizon and told them mine never shipped with one and a local store just gave me the back cover from a returned one

no biggie b/c i ended up spending $30 for the car mount and buying their crappy Covers anyway, so they made out in the end

Are they really selling that two dollar plastic back cover for thirty bucks with a straight face? Wow

yeah its ridiculous

i had to spend $15 on my omnia to get a 2nd battery plastic cover ...and that was after it was out for like 6 months already

it's all about supply and demand

My experience has been that even after being left on the charger for several hours after the charge is "complete" it still drops quickly from 99 to 90. Usually within 30 minutes with little or no use. My experience may vary but I get the distinct feeling that the phone just doesn't charge the battery fully. Ever. Not a scientific finding, just saying.

As far as swapping batteries, I've been doing it for years with Blackberries so its not a big deal. I don't like to plug my phone in every night because I'm just wary of the repetitive strain on the usb ports. Probably just being anal, but....

And yes I'm still in the meeting and yes it does speak to both my lust for this phone and the state of the modern meeting! :)

Yup but for a different reason. My battery never dies when it is convenient for me to charge it. My answer to that is actually 3 batteries and the wall wart stand alone battery charger. One in the phone, one in my pocket (a pocket without keys or metal objects that might short out the contacts) and one in the charger. Been doing it that way for years. It's the main reason I've never owned a iPhone.

Sorry I would have made another thread, but if fear of it being moved and cluttering the main forum I'll just ask it in here.

Has anyone used Martin Fields screen protectors before? I read a review that stated they were better than the Steinheil's.
