the INC already has a 1250 or 1300 maH battery, what's the point of a 1500mAh? Was the 1500mAh made for the INC? I see it's red so maybe it is, but that seems like too little of an increase for it to be worth while to produce. Also, if they were gonna come out with a 1500 why not just make the OEM 1500? thoughts?
whats this do to Google talk if you turn it off? will you not be notified until something else syncs or does it check every few minutes anyway? I don't get emails that I need instant notification nor do I get chats that need to be answered immediately so this is a good option, just don't want ppl waiting for an hour for me to answer.
So, disabling mobile data would not allow GMail push then, correct?
what is difference b/w push mail and the regular maildroid or gmail shortcut?
Seriously? Cause I can get those for like $14. Hmmmmm...
EDIT: Pulled the trigger, bought a chrome pair for $15 shipped. Let's see how they do!
No joke. They sent me an email. I did pay for fed ex express saver shipping but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Should be expecting it on Jun 3rd.
There is incorrect information in this thread. Disabling "Always on mobile data" will not disable Gmail push. I've had mine disabled since day 1 and get Gmail pushed no problem. Have tested this on mulitple occasions by sending from other accounts and they come in immediately.
Gmail syncs from...Settings > Accounts and Sync and having Google enabled as well as having both "Auto Sync" and "Background Data" (applications can sync, send and receive data at any time) checked.
Thanks for the pics! I don't think I like the belt clip holster, though. The fact that it has a brace over top of the device means quick retrieval isn't gonna happen. One thing I like about the VZW one. I liken it to a gun holster, LOL.
More secure? I don't doubt it. But not having the top bracer means in and out is easy. It's more like putting a cup in a cupholder than anything, which is what I'm looking for personally.
If you're more active when out with the phone, I could definitely see how you'd need a more secure hold, I just don't is all.![]()
+1 I just turned off "Always on moblie data" as well and sent a test email to Gmail, it immediately showed up in my Gmail account on my PC and within 30 seconds it was pushed to my phone. I can't testify as to whether turning off this function actually saves any battery. I will come back in 2-3 days and let you know what I find. Others should do the same.

today I was in the car for a 6 hour road trip with pandora on texting frequently, browsing the internet, etc... I have the stock battery. The phone died after 6 hours which was pretty impressive considering how much I was doing on the phone. ALSO, I was driving through the mountians and was switching between 1x and 3x pretty frequently.
I dont get how you guys dont get a full day on a normal charge with normal use?
I hope to God you weren't the one driving
