I went back and back in the thread and the stickies, searching for this info, but can't find it...so I throw myself on the mercy of this list: Where do I order a black/red gradient case? Anybody have a link? I searched VZW's web site but didn't see it.

Lol. I have literally seen your posts scattered in and around this question being asked and answered multiple times. You gotta read the thread not just post on it. jk Seriously, you have to order that case by phone for now.

I don't think massive shipments are a problem these days for the shippers, as it happens all the time with other products. Not that I wouldn't LOVE an earlier ship date mind you!

Information from Verizon employees seems so random that I'll just keep expecting the 29th and if it shows up earlier I'll bust out a happy dance.

I called a gal at Verizon who said theyd start shipping on the 25th. I hope she's right.

I told him way not just sell me the phone now instead of making me wait for the 29th and he said he couldn't because when they put the sku into their computer it shows a price of $9,999.99 and they can't change it. He said he would call me if they release the phone eariler.

I can hardly wait to get my new phone!

Why didn't you just pay the 9,999????

I just called verizon - apparently the only people that are getting the included 2GB card are the ones that order today, forward.

Kind of a ripoff for those that pre-ordered right away.

Nice! If you don't mind my asking, which stores in Atlanta did you find had it? I live in Midtown and I called the closest Verizon store to me yesterday and they said they didn't have it yet. I saw your previous post that referenced dummy units, but my understanding was dummy units don't actually have anything loaded on them.

The Alpharetta store had a live demo, and perimeter store had a live demo. I used them at both locations today. The Lenox store said they had one, but not sure if it is a demo or dummy.

2GB is like a slap in the face for me. Now a 16GB card would be a different story.

I have never used Swype and like the idea, but at this point it does not have the ability to do voice to text, correct? Meaning I would need to switch back and forth between keyboards to use that feature?

Does anyone know if they are planning on integrating that feature with Swype?

in theory swype is faster than talking

the tp2 has this. if you took movies you want to share with family, or if you ripped a movie to your phone and wanted to share it, it would be a great accessory. only problem i see is you can't charge the phone while using the cable.

The one I ordered has a female end plug in the housing to plug the charger into.

Verizon is really missing an opportunity promoting the Droid and giving it to players and NLF Network hosts to pump on camera ...why not the Incredible? This is a huge marketing opportunity. The NFL app must still not work on it is the only thing I can think since thats what they are showing off on the phone.

Why do you need an invite for it? When I preordered my phone, I added verizons visual voice mail. I've never known anyone to have it so thought I would give it a try because i hate listening to messages but if there is a good free service i'd definately be interested.

Sorry if this is a dead subject. Have not had time to read back up on the forums from today, but I felt the need to post this. I preordered my phone on the 19th like many of you did. I did it online. Also like many of you I keep getting the same response when I check the status of my order. I am posting 2 pics. One of them shows my confirmation to show that I have ordered it and the second is a response from Verizon. I wrote them asking if they had at least a history of my preorder and if they could just acknowledge it was still a go.


I just feel a lot of people are overreacting. Yes it is an awesome phone. Yes I know you spent blah blah amount on it and demand service. Yet just take a step back and breath for a bit. If by some chance my order does get cancelled...I am pretty sure I will just order another.

No, I didn't actually read every post; my life interferes. Like I said: I scanned, I searched, I went back to the evergreen and sticky pages and still couldn't find it. As I think others have pointed out, there are a lot of posts here.

For a minute, I hesitated to ask. If the info was out there, and I'd missed it, I could end up feeling like an idiot.

I asked anyway. I think you tried but you just make yourself look bad. Bet your friends really enjoy that condescending thing you do.

Last night I went to the VZW store, and we thought we were gonna pick up 4 Incredibles, so the manager brought out their only demo unit. He said they had been told not to even touch it until Sunday, and they most certainly weren't supposed to be showing me now.

He reserved two for me for launch day, and said it was very likely that they would be drop shipped.

I spent about an hour with the phone, and got to see that it is about 6,00x faster than the DROID, the camera lens does NOT stick out (only the trim around it that protects it), that it does not come with an SD card, etc.

If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.

I just have one question. Why in the world did you think that you were going to pick up 4 Incredibles last night? Verizon has this thing on complete lockdown especially since their CSR screw-ups had several receive their phones early.
