I agree this could certainly be a reason for the N1 not being offered by Verizon, but the fact that Google would suggest buying another "brand" of phone in the N1's place backs up the claim that they are not really all that interested in selling phones directly... the N1 is just another way for Google to market Android. Google is pitching the Incredible to VZW customers to help out their partners (i.e. HTC and Verizon), and moving forward with their primary goal of increasing the Android user base.

Says West Chester. Funny thing is that I have two updates at the same exact time. 6am. One says picked up in West Chester, PA and the other says arrived at Fedex location in Newark, NJ.

I have noticed that if the Fedex person forgets to scan the item and then scans it all at the same time this will happen. This status has not changed since this morning so I am guessing I will not get it today but hoping for tomorrow and expecting Wednesday.
 
This article in PC World calls the new BB Pearl the first wireless-n enabled phone in the US. And, so far no reviews and nothing on vzw.com has said anything about this Incredible having N...

So Anon, while i WANT to believe, i'm calling bs.

Uh, being excited about a phone doesn't give people the right to act like a-holes... (not saying you, but the rude people who harrass csrs and complain on here about non-existent "problems", etc.)

I called Verizon Wireless and was told the best way to do this was to send the ones you want to save to another person and then when you activate your new phone, have them send them back to you.

Not a huge deal to want to know exactly which day your phone will arrive sine many pre-orders will arrive on Wednesday (most probably on Thursday).

I just can't figure out why people are posting them on this thread when there is a DEDICATED threat for processing/shipping.

Found clear screen protectors on Ebay. $4.99 for 3 I believe. Covers the entire screen and specially cut for the Incredible. Just search for Inc screen prot and you'll see them. Going to order them for now since the good ones aren't out yet. I believe they dont use any liquid or spray. :)
 
I'm switching from T-Mobile to Verizon to buy the Incredible (goodbye G1). I like to get a new phone every 12-18 months. I can't decide if it's better to pay $199 with a 2-yr or $270 with a 1-yr. I'm sure there will be a new Android phone I must have in about a year, and it may or may not be on Verizon! Any suggestions?
 
I called FedEx to see if I can go to their facility to pick it up early and they said I needed to call Verizon to authorize that. The facility is right down the street from me. So close.

I got my FEDx email notification at 6:06 AM Pacific time today Monday 26th. Says it will arrive 28th. I did 2 day ship. I ordered 2 Incredibles online on around 11:30 PM on the 18th but Verizon shows the 19th as I guess they are Eastern time. I did not order any accessories with it.

I am looking for the Verizon Hard Holster Case, can anyone help. I looked back on the threads and could not find it. I have one on Storm and it is the best case I ever had.

I hope that there isn't going to be a host of posts saying "I got my phone today" if some of you receive it. If you receive the phone great, but remember when you placed your order Verzion told you it would arrive on the 29th, before the 29th is is just icing on the cake!

You were the one who called out MsKgreenel on this and she did have a problem. So just because yours went just fine doesn't mean everyone's in your boat. How about contributing something positive instead of using every time you post to complain about or bash someone doing something that has nothing to do with you.

Talked to a csr today about shipping. I was polite like I always am. But some interesting points came out. I paid 9 dollars for overnight shipping. Well on fedex it shows as 2day. So that was the reason I was calling in. She said even though I have a tracking number through fedex and it shows at the Memphis location that it would not ship till the 28th and I would get it on the 29th. I said well what about people that had 2 day shiping and she said they will get it on the 30th. I pretty much think she has no clue what she was talking about. I asked her if it was ok and it did take 2 days to get to me that I get a refund on the shipping. Now its just a waiting game to see who is right lol.
