Correct, it's a micro sim.
 
Okay, all set up with my wife's credentials. I just need the SIM and she should be good to go. I'll have to show her how to use it though or maybe my daughter can do that.
 
Mine is up and running. I thought I'd get the case before the phone but it was the other way around. It concerns me a bit to use this thing without a case simply because I ALWAYS use a case, even though I baby my phones. First impressions are WOW in terms of speed. The speakers are horrible but hopefully somebody will make a sound mod work for this. That really helped the N4's volume.

I ordered mine 4:40MDT (6:40 EDT) on Oct 31. 16gb white with 2 day shipping, hubby just brought it in from the door step.

When I ordered, I never had a ship by date, it said 3-4 weeks, then received my receipt that said 2-3 weeks. The ship notice came yesterday late morning. I hope you get yours soon!
 
I guess that's where having a crappy phone is a good thing. You're thrilled with whatever you get next! Lol the sound quality is loads better on the nexus 5 than my old phone. The camera, too.
 
Have you guys checked out the replacement to dalvik available in developer options yet? Its supposed to be even faster

Yeah yeah, I know. My issue is that it is spoiling me. I never realized how slow other things were like my DirecTV boxes, nexus 7, nexus 10, iPad, etc...

One thing I don't like is the new keyboard layout. They moved a few keys when you switch to the numbers. That's more of an issue with 4.4 though. I keep hitting _ rather than the ,

Yeah, the change in the comma and ! Got me at first, but youll get used to it.

And just like that I get a shipping notice. Not only that, but I got the notice in my email at about 6pm EST only to find out it was shipped yesterday from KY, and is already in Syracuse NY (via Columbus OH), to be delivered tomorrow by end of day.
Psyched!
 
Went to T-mobile to get it set up and they said I was the 4th customer in today with the nexus. Then another woman came in a few minutes after me. I'm setting it up now.

They just give some extra settings/options. One of the major ones being USB debugging to use the sdk.

You can enable them by going to settings>about phone and tap build number like 7 times or something. Won't hurt anything to enable them. You can choose to enable or not enable any of the settings in there at any time.
 
Well it seems my order is no longer in purgatory! Status is now at "leaves warehouse by 11/26", so with some luck, I might have it in hand in the next week or so.
 
My phone left for delivery just this morning! Hope it takes so long that the truck will get there the moment I get home :o
