Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

Well never mind my droid X is due to come on Friday. My tracking number came today. Can't wait to get my droid X and play with it.:D

I'm in Southern California and I got mine at about 1:30 today. I ordered on the phone on the 16th at about 11am. Got my tracking number Sunday, the phone left Memphis yesterday (Tuesday).
 
So how does your Card being charged correlate with your actual ship dates.

Anyone care to share their "day card was charged" to actual "ship date"

I ordered mine on Tuesday afternoon around two and by 10pm that night my card was charged, I have received no email about shipping yet. The salesperson at the Verizon store said i should get the phone on August 2nd and it will be delivered to my house.

I ordered on the 16th and that day I saw the charge show up as Pending. The next day the charge disappeared. Then I got my fedex notification on Sunday, and still no charge to the card. It didn't charge for me until yesterday. Kind of strange.
 
I ordered one off of Amazon on the 21st. Shipped the same day, tracking number says it will be delivered today (the 22nd).
 
Droid X and accessories are at the Dest Sort Facility!!! Hopefully on the truck this morning - ::crossing fingers:: :D:D:D:D
 
I feel like calling verizon again to check but i dont wanna be a pain but i want my phone... lol i hate using a phone that is breaking!
 
Mine is finally at the fedex center here in Columbia, SC being sorted. I was hoping it would be out for delivery this morning, but doesn't look like that is going to happen. I'm going to have to wait until sometime after lunch. At least I get it today after waiting 1 week for this replacement phone.
 
I noticed yesterday that they are no longer showing the status of my order, I was getting the "your order is being processed please check back tomorrow" message, now theirs nothing. Is it a glitch or intentional? This is a business account by the way. I called CSR @ Verizon and was told my phone should be shipped tomorrow and that she wasn't aware of any problems with tracking number going out, take that for what you will. I ordered my phone @7:00am on the 15th. In case you missed the news the DX has been rooted! :D
 
I had a local rep order mine on launch day around 4:00pm, still waiting for confirmation. She assures me that it will be shipped as soon as it comes through as available for shipment, however the method she had to use doesn't provide me with an order number. It's beginning to drive me a little crazy , anyone else experience anything like this?

Ordered 7/16, pending status on card until 7/19 when it was charged, 7/21 is when the shipment went out

check pg 15 of this thread for the full email, this is an excerpt from a response I received from customer service

If you did not place your order through the Internet at verizonwireless.com you will not be able check your order status online. If you ordered your equipment through another venue (telesales, store location or customer care etc.) please contact 800-922-0204 for further assistance and order status.

If you have additional questions regarding your Internet order give us a call at 800-711-7773 as we are experiencing a 48-72 hour response time for email inquiries.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your business.

Yes. When I ordered my original X online (on the 15th), I could see status, etc. But it died on the 19th, and the replacement X was ordered through the local VZW store. Apparently if it's ordered through a local store, you cannot see the status of the order online (until it ships). I was told by 3 separate Cust Svc Reps (3 different calls), that even though I have an order number, I will not be able to see the status until it ships. It's very frustrating.
Note though - you should be able to call VZW Customer Service, and they should be able to see you order and tell you the expected ship date.
 
Status has FINALLY changed!!!!! After ordering on the 15th my staus finally says "Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email"
THANK GOD!
Now I just have to wait for my girlfriend to wake up so she can check her email for a tracking number (used her new every two upgrade to get the phone on our family plan)

Yeah My card was billed within a day or two the order being put in online.
 
Okay, this pisses me off...

At local FedEx facility
WINCHESTER, VA
Package not due for delivery

FedEx has it, but won't deliver it because it's "not due for delivery"
