OK so now that it seems like the OG evo is getting a resurgence, i know that there are some flashaholics amongst us. the only way to work it out is to admit it and talk about your disease:eek::D:eek:

ok so i will start it out,

i was previously on deck's reloaded, but i just flashed alienmod. and now i'm gonna try the latest 4 kornerz. man it has been awhile since i was on a binge flash like this. it is almost like old times......LOL

my only hope is that this will satisfy my itch.....but i have been itchy lately so who knows.

good luck with y'all and do not say that i did not warn you:D
 
I admit I'm a Flashaholic. I lost track long ago with how many roms I've been through and although I have my favorites there is always another one lurking around the corner.

Maybe today is a good time to peak around the corner and see whats lurking :D:D

ok so here is a cool little idea that will most definitely feed your addiction......so don't say i did not warn y'all.

check this thread out:

you can boot into as many as 5 roms that is stored on your sd card. it is great for those who like certain aspects of certain roms. you can switch by just rebooting into one of many roms that you have setup thru boot manager.

but be warned. THIS WILL FEED YOUR ADDICTION!!!!

I went to a meeting once nothing there but a bunch of cry babies whining about their flashing problems I mean really give me a break. :rolleyes:
 
I just rooted mine, and I am already wondering what else I should do to it. I almost did my wife's 4g but I changed my mind. I get her phone when she downgrades to the iphone.
 
oh man it is all over for you. there is nowhere to go but down!!!!!!:D

mikg is just the tip of the iceberg. the cooler roms out now are aosp roms and the very best one is decks' reloaded. but thindershock is also good as well.

you might want to do some research with partitioning and using a2sd to move apps to the sd card so that you will never have to worry about space on your phone for apps and such.
 
I "borrow" my old OG from my wife when she goes to bed at night.

I make a current NAND, then I flash.

Then I play with my Precious until the wee hours of the morning.

The sun comes, and I know it's time to restore my wife's MikG NAND.

Good bye my Precious.....until tonight....

Hahahaha, this is hysterical. Love it. Still a flashing fiend on the GNex, but unfortunately my OG's charging port is dead so I have no way to charge it anymore. Was a great device for its time. I can't believe this forum is still so active. The Gnex forum on this site is dead!
 
My Hero has a broken charging port, but it uses the same battery profile as the Evo. I did get extended batteries with an external charger for the Evo, so now the Hero still lives as well!!! :D

I think I've got the misses about convinced it's time to wipe her clean and load a new ROM. It's getting laggy and there's a few bugs developing after about a year of use with no factory reset. She'll see the light soon enough.....yes my precious she will....
