wait a minute the sprint logo is starting up maybe just maybe did another battery pull its trying
i dont understand it booted up pulled up the set up screen tapped set up google account then back to virate 5 times then nothing b maybe one more time that 5 times vibrating must mean something

I think i placed something on my sd card over the last 4 days thats doing this should i try and remove all the roms and theres another 3 mg pc36img on there ....

no go it keeeps skipping the bootloader
ok it will keep asking you that every time you go into the bootloader because of the PC36IMG file. you can just select no. however, if this file worked then you may not have any recovery to go to. what happens when you go into recovery?

i never tied it phone completely shuts down i just did another battery pull don't know how much longer my battery is gonna last to answer your question i just got the phone icon with the red triangle i type type with 2 fingers and i am very slow so pls bear with me
i could be wrong but i think theres something that i put on card thats doing this also even though o renamed the file when it starts to update it syas zip at the end but if the file wasn't working then it wouldnt even tryu to update would it
i even tried to pull a back i made of phone that was in clockworkmod folder that i made yesterday did nothing i that sounds stupid but i tried

ok the red triangle is good. that means that the file worked to some extent. it was supposed to do that. try rebooting again and see what happens.

Okay again it went through all the motions even got me to the set up screen like before then try to hit okay about google locations as if i whre setting up my phone then it does the same thing 5 beeps then nothing battery is 99% dead but if you go back to the posts it did the same thing about an hour a go so i dont think its the battery but when i plug it in it won't even charge
I know this sounds stupid but why can't i get the battery to charge anywhere plug into waLL nothing computer nothing it won't start to charge ....????

ok i think i know the problem then. try a different battery and see if that helps. i had a battery that would charge to 100 then be dead in like 15 min. so if you know someone that has an evo and you can test the battery or try buying it from amazon. Amazon.com: HTC Standard Battery for HTC EVO 4G: Cell Phones & Accessories. they are cheap and fast. i got mine in like two days. i think your phone is notbricked and that this is more of a battery issue.
try pulling the battery out and then back in and try plugging it into the wall and see if it will charge.
well even when i got to the set up screen and put in my google information and password it kicked back and said wrong info is that because phone has different esn or something ....? thanks for your help as always gonna hit the sack been a very long 4 days ty ty ty very much hope maybe i can get a battery and try again i dont think thats the issue like i said it did the same thing to me an hour or so ago cant thank you enogh for trying TY TY TY wish the results where different got ito most of this trouble besides alot of other things after all this time having myphone because i was hell bent on partioning my sd card ty again maybe you can help me another time night
Okay okay forgot daughter has my old hero and has same battery swapped batteries phone booted up was almost finished set up thought i was home free when i was signing into google did the same thing have fresh fully charged battery in it it stops vibrates 5 times then nothing any ideas i have a freh battery in it ..?

that is interesting. out of curiosity put the hero battery back into the hero and see what the battery level is.

crazything is the led keeps blinking green like the phone is on and evything is working but other theb that if i want the phone to to anything i have to do a battery pull
as long as you have the PC36IMG file on the card it will always ask you to update. not sure what you are trying to do. try doing the one for amon ra 2.3 if you still have it and not getting all these files mixed up.
ok i just wanted to see if it was draining the battery at all. try my suggestion of getting a custom recovery on it now.
