NO LONGER ADMIN
I very much want to thank the community member base here as a whole for the efforts put in by you. Androidforums simply would not be what it is without the members, the collective efforts of the members, and all the knowledge they share with each other and therefore - the world.
With a userbase like this, it is natural we are going to have people on both sides of every rule. What I love most about THIS community, is the that the majority of the members respect everyone around them, and the site itself despite what parts of our standards here and there they personally may not agree with. We are largely a very mature userbase, knowledgeable and respectful. For that, I want to personally thank each and every one of you. I know this little note isn't much, but right now it's the best I can do. We really are who we are because of you.
We do our best to maintain a standard we feel is right for our community, and I realize sometimes that seems harsh or overbearing in some case by case situations. At the same time, there are issues where we seem more lenient than other sites. It all boils down us maintaining what we believe to be the best for the community, as well as adjusting how the enforcement is handled and perceived. Sometimes things are decided that is never understood by the end user, but for those that trust that we are doing what we do for good reason - I thank you.
We are not perfect, but we will continue to do our best to try to evolve into the best we can be. The best for the community. In both the rules we set as well as the way we handle enforcing them.
Never before have I been as proud of a staff here at AF as I am today (a staff that is pushing 100 now, by the way). We have such a good group working so hard for the good of the Android community. We have a solid, strong team with varying personalities and opinions, different ages and sexes, races and lifestyles. We have members that just joined the team this week, and members that have been on staff for years. This group works very well together to offer advice to members and each other, carry out current standard processes and enforce the rules (whether they agree with it or not). They work together to come to a fair consensus when needed, and also know when to agree to disagree.
They respect each other and the community to the highest regard, and for that I have the utmost respect for them. They take special care to not give the "god mode" impression some moderators out there on the internet are known to do. They take a beating sometimes, and they take it as professionally as they can.
I wish there were more I can do to show my appreciation to this group, but words on the screen are the extent of my reach right now. I want to thank each staff member for the effort and time they put in here, all the contributions they make to helping keep this site the best Android Forum out there. Which, might I add, we are. Period.
With all that said, I would like to welcome the newest members to the Moderator team! These four members have really shone and deserve every bit of the red in their new badge. Please join me in congratulating them!

There are many more fantastic Guides that will surely get their shot. To those Guides, please know I don't bring on more than required (or leave inactive accounts on board, for several reasons). I have always handled things like that and it will always be done as such. So, it's not that these are the only four of the 50 that do a great job, it's just that this round, is their time.
(Speaking of great team of 50 - Frisco has done a great job as Guide Lead and it is very clear and obvious. That is another thing I wanted to publicly mention. I have got several PMs from members pointing out what they've noticed. I am very happy we created this role and picked the right person to fill it!)
So, as if I've not droned on enough - let me end with this. Androidforums has the best userbase and best staff of any other Android related website out there, that I firmly believe. I thank each of you for all the positive things you do here, and want everyone to know that we will continue to evolve as needed to the best of our abilities. Please continue to report posts that need dealing with and let me know any injustices you feel are going on on our end. My door is always open, always has been.
Thank you all!
