gonna try second file...don't see a boot.img in it though....how to flash? fastboot flash boot file.tar???
Edit: that will never work...need a boot.img shabby
Edit2: here's the blocks pointed out by hroark13, I zeroed out boot to get fastboot.

So we're getting somewhere????
my phone is just sitting in fastboot waiting for files to be flashed
I tried the recovery.img from 2nd-init, that was a no go.

But I didn't type fastboot oem unlock....so let me unbrick and try again.
Why would recovery flash and boot without error but not boot.img???

im gunna piss myself if this "unlock" lets you flash a recovery but not a custom kernel, you guys will be no closer to cm

here lets try one better,
fastboot flash recovery path/to/my/modded/boot.img
and then try to boot into recovery
fastboot flash recovery path/to/my/modded/boot.img

and then try to boot into recovery
same thing!!
it likes recovery's but not boot images...this is with C firmware...let me try with D.
Edit: forgot fastboot oem unlock :banghead:
