Root optimus 4x hd bootloader unlocked

@PG when recovery is flashed normal way on the Lucid after ICS update, it security error'd I believe.

I'm sure the same would happen here

Just make sure you reboot the bootlader, fastboot OEM unlock, enable unlock and pull battery after 30 seconds. Can you check the hidden menu and see if their is mention of A locked state. If so after pulling battery if it says. Unlocked it work. They are flashing a different boot. Img though possibly to bypass the security check....

I ran fastboot erase encrypt
it boots fine.....hmm

Talking on the phone so I'll flash boot.img made by shabby soon after I'm done talking.

Enable unlock (or maybe its vice versa) is a command you type.

nope...talked to shabby too....still can't get the recovery working, bootloader says error!. We need a new bootloader!

You can flash pretty much any LG aboot file since zeest could flash so many without bricking

I know that on Craigslist or d I was able to use fastboot OEM unlock command. You must reboot bootloader before these commands though. Lastly type enable unlock or vice versa. Need to delete boot partition to get into fastboot with any firmware version

I don't remember the command line I used...I have it bookmarked on PC.

Edit: Someone uploaded the bootloader for the 4x. I will try when I get home.
