OTA update 4.1.2 pushed 11/25/13

Where exactly do you tap to get such a surprise? I've tapped a few different places, and the only thing I accomplished was looking like a goofball.
From the home screen press menu-setting-about phone. Scroll down to android version, tap on that five times fast.

Something else I've noticed in the past few days: Bluetooth has started to get REALLY flaky. There is a service called BluetoothLE that crashes a few times a day; when that happens, you don't get any notifications sent to your watch, even if it's paired with the phone. The only way I've found to get it going again is to reboot the phone.
Me too!!

For those who used UnlockRoot to root your commando and now after the 4.1.2 update won't work, try "motochopper". Google it since I'm not sure on how this forum feels about links to other forums.

I can send you the link via PM if need be.

I used this method and regained root after I did a factory reset after my update to 4.1.2

Doing the update right now. The phone is slow on connecting to WiFi.

My new (replacement) phone has had FAR fewer glitches than the one that failed on me, and I have not had a single incidence of it dying in sleep mode (battery pull).

Maybe this new update will completely fix this for everyone.

Is it only me ???? Since I update to 4.1.2 and then did the factory reset to get the battery working again, I have noticed my camera takes HORRIBLE pics. It took awesome pics before the update now it will not focus all my pics come out blurry. It some times acts like it is focusing but it never really does.

Hey so I tried to read up on this as much as I can but kinda got mixed answers. So I am rooted with multiple programs frozen (I think), I don't think I deleted them (it is all backed up any ways). So can you update with root? Do I have to restore all files to factory then un-root then update? Can the update be rooted just as easily as it was at first using the super simple program that you click to root?
