Root P3,,,undo hotspot hack!

If you have used the Hotspot hack, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU UNDO THAT HACK IMMEDIATELY. Sorry no further info, but do it now.

p3 just tweeted this ,,,i am not trying to stir the pot or add commotion as i hope this don't but i know it applies to many of us so im throwing it out there

Yeah I just posted this in the other thread...this really isn't the time to argue...if you're using the tethering hack in GB...GET RID OF IT:cool:...I really don't think P3 ia playing around right now...
 
I have the wireless tether app and 3ga hot spot one but I never use them...should I just uninstall them to be safe? P3 is "straight trippin."
 
Apparently some folks were hitting 40 Mbps d/l speed and it's being investigated. Some never learn...

He is only referring to his hotspot hack released on tbh app ....possibly wireless tether as well ...if you have the hack use the hack unpatcher to get rid of the hack ...also found in the tbh app
 
I know I've looked at the hack but I can't recall if i downloaded it or not... I know I've wiped data n cache plenty of times after that. I don't know if I did download it if you would need to reinstall it (hack)? Any way of finding out if im still hacked?

Start the mobile hotspot app and connect another device to it ....then from that other device try to open a web page ...if the hack is not applied you will get brought to a vzw billing option tether page crap (this is what you want) ...if the hack is applied your page will be loaded as normal and you will have to download and install the unpatcher from tbh
 
I think I am solving this problem once and for all. I need tethering for tomorrow. Let them come after a PAYING customer. Lol.
 
WTH is going on here lately! People are paranoid....Its always the same situation,a bunch of people abuse the system(tether),and it must come to an end....thank you to all you big data users for ruining it for someone who uses about 1-1.5 GB a month....way to go.....

I don't know, but I think a couple people that get information want it out to undo the hack to prevent people from getting screwed badly. I'm in the middle of nowhere, I just clicked on peoples twitter handles and found that. Seemed like some info that might be good for us to know.

Saw all that. Why did @androidcentral tweet "stay awake"? Doubt it's related but is something being released tonight?

I haven't checked android centrals twitter at all, no clue. I usually just stay here for the information I need. But I see some things on people I follow and I click on names that they retweet or reply to and see if I can get a clue as to what is going on.
