Root P3,,,undo hotspot hack!

Here is the thing the wireless tether would work for some out of the box with GB, others had to add the hack to do it and others could not even do it with the hack applied.

I may be wrong, but I am not all that freaked out. I ran the uninstall real quick, but I can not test it because I removed wireless tether from my phone. I was in the group that only had it incase I needed it for something and used it twice. After becoming more educated on the mater in the past days felt that it was right to remove it.

IF Verizon comes and knocks on my door about this I will tell them the truth that I did use it twice and face whatever they would want to do about it. Based on my monthly data usage (which is a little over 2GB) that will not happen and if I do not use it going forward everything should be fine.
 
if they come to my house, im going to say, shirt and pants must be removed before entering my house, and belt and shoes must be removed if you stand on my porch, either way, i will acquire something from a visit ^_^
 
Although I enjoy Gingerbread dearly (including the new blur), I am going back to rubix 2.0.1. I'll wait until Drod gets some more time to go back - or just wait for the official release.
 
lol i dont see the big deal with gingerbread right now, i didnt enjoy all of the blur, but thats my personal choice :)
 
I did. It was all very smooth and polished - but Rubix is just as so. And I didn't have any keyboard lag on Rubix, so to him I return.

Flash back to froyo if you like it better, that's why we're on Android, for freedom of choice. But this sense of "security" some display while doing so is confusing. What do they think they are now safe from? Verizon's 'ROM' squad??? If they're going to repel through the windows of us GB users and double tap us in our sleep, then they'll do the same to anyone on Apex, Liberty, Darkslide, etc... a custom ROM is a custom ROM.

But that's not about to happen in this, or any other world. This isn't a James Bond movie. This is real life. Which for better or worse is fairly mundane and predictable on a good day. And just plain boring on most others.

Only in a fantasy world could a communications conglomerate be as kick ass as Verizon's being made out to be around some of these boards.
 
for those of you worried. If you are on GB you will probably need to SBF to get rid of the hack since there is a flaw in GB via the unpatcher.

The worst case scenario is them tracking tethering and hitting you with a bill for it.

That's it. No more, no less. You aren't violating any of Verizon's policies by installing unauthorized software, or leaked software, or rooting your phone, or putting animations of dancing naked ladies in gimp outfits as your live wallpaper.

Settle down, people.

If that jingle, I have a lot better things involving naked ladies to wish for than just a live wallpaper.

That's if you installed the app? From what Steven said gb did not come with the hack if i read his post correctly
 
im sorry binary has the best post on this thread about the naked dancing ladies
and outlaws comment about the tsunami is priceless ^_^ screw tethering, lets talk about tsunami's and naked ladies dancing through them
