Paying for apps?

Apps I've paid for

Beautiful Widgets (hardly ever use it since the post HTC fiasco update)
Album Art grabber (still gets some use on occasions)
Weather & toggle widget (still in rotation)
Better Cut (solid return on my money)
Open Home (poor investment)
GDE (Don't even use it now)
Texans GDE theme (haha that was a waste)
Pure Grid calendar (with launcher pro plus this is now obselete ... got good mileage though)
AnyRSS reader (money poorly spent)
Pure music widget (I got use out of it but hardly ever use it now)
Launcher Pro plus (best investment yet)
SNESoid Great investment
Gensoid (Great investment)
Nesoid (Great investment)
PhonemyPC (ehh feel like I was taken out back to the woodshed and beat with a lead pipe)
Hyperjump (money well spent)
Astro File manager key (Sound investment - I just hate ads)
Seeds of Life wallpaper (what the hell was i smoking)
ESPN fantasy football (Initially i refused to pay $4.99 for 1 season but it's definitely worth every penny)
Tetris EA (just bought it and haven't even played it yet)
Better keyboard (excellent investment)
Docs 2 Go (okay buy I guess I still haven't found much use for even though I work in the financial industry)
Root explorer (yep)

All in all I would say 60/40 it was worth it.

I do my research before I buy any apps. I prefer ones with a free version so I can use it for more than 24 hours. I want to get a feel for the app and to really see if I like it or not. I find 24 hours is simply not sufficient. I read the reviews and what people have to say about the app here, if they have something else to recomend, I'd try that too. I then have my list of pros and cons for each app and emlimate the apps I don't like. If the one I like is BETTER as a Pro version. I go buy that :D This was what I did with Note Everything Pro. I tried ove a dozen note/list apps and nothing could beat Note Everything. When I saw what the Pro version contained, I bought it immediately :D

I don't like to clutter my phone with the same type of apps and if I buy 2+ of the same type of apps...I usually feel very reluctant to delete them. Most of my apps are free. If I see I use a certain app on a daily basis for a good length of time, I usually make a donation to the developer for creating a good/great app :)

So all in all, I'll spend the money on a good app, but as it's my money, I'm not going to be wasteful with it.

Most of my paid apps dont have free/lite versions. I've been know to donate to a quality dev more than the price of his or her app, depending on the circumstances. Having said that, 98% of my apps are free/lite versions

To date, I have spent over $75 on my apps...and counting....

Damn! I've only hit $10 in apps lol....

Launcher Pro Plus is one of them =)

And tapatalk pro, which i bought for THIS forum >.<

l've had my android phone for close to 2 years. I have never paid for an app. I haven't found anything I feel is worth it.

I've only spent $17 since I've had an Android phone. Compared to my friends with iPhones that's nothing haha

No apps bought yet, but it's not my fault, it's Google :). In other words, they don't have paid apps in my country, but soon there will be (in next weeks they add Slovakia too). And i don't mind paying for software - Windows 7 on all my computers are legal versions, and i have "few" games on my Steam account too :D
