Root PC36IMG.zip still not working !!!!!!!

Guys, Ive read all the posts about pc36 not installing and i still cant get it to work. The more i read the more confused i get.!!!!!!! It took me 7 hours to get s off on my evo lte and now this.......oh well i know im almost there. please help !!!!!!!! oh and by the way ive done this before on my other evo 4g and it was no prob. i know about getting spelling correct and placement of files. ive downloaded it various times from chrome and windows.changed locations. still...........

well first off PC36IMG only works for the og evo. for the evo 4g lte it is PJ75IMG. hopefully that will help.....exactly what are you trying to do? you said you have s-off correct?
 
i just installed open recovery-twrp-2.4.1.0-jewel.img to the root of sd through cmd and now phone says -tampered-on top of unlocked in hboot. still s-on. lordy lord !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I can't get into recovery. It gives me the red triangle when I try to go in. So I did through cmd.
 
it said sending recovery ok,writing recovery ok, finished total time 3.03 seconds. gonna try adb reboot recovery.
 
ok i got into recovery, i went through the steps again. Now im rooted !!!!! ya hoooooooo !!!! thanks guys !!!! always get me out of troule.....

+100000 on pacman. it is aosp though so it is not sense. i have flashed many roms but i keep coming back to pacman.
 
ok i flashed the su file thats in the guide ,it was accepted perfect.Did it through recovery and rebooted but when i go to super su app and press continue where su binary needs to be updated and it shows a super su box says INSTALLATION FAILED !

which super user app do you have? there is superuser and there is supersu. i forget which is which that has issues with updating binaries.

to be honest you might as well just flash a custom rom that has su cooked in. if you want sense then the latest viper or meanbean is what everyone here likes. for me i like aosp better and pacman is the king in my opinion.
