that is fine, quite normal. if the battery is completely dead it will blink first and then it should charge normally.

is your phone a htc wildfire asia? do you know which wildfire you have?
ok i believe that this is what you will need:
RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe
so this is what you do:
1.download the above
2.connect your phone to the pc via usb
3.run the .exe file(ruu)

i believe though i have found th right ruu for you though. to confirm can you post everything you see on the bootloader screen?

its not that big....the ruu for the htc evo 4g lte like i have, the ruu's are like 648mb!!!! so this one is tiny in comparison....lol
ok perfect then yes the ruu i linked you to should work fine.
weird that the vol and power buttons do not work.

just thot id interject here...
your phone has a track ball,so its possible it uses that to select things in the hboot menu. i find it hard to believe that your power and vol buttons are now not working in hboot,if they were fine before. give the phone an hour or more to charge,and then try and select things again.
from this info,looks like you are in fastboot
did the phone power on into this mode,or were you able to select it?
in order to run the .exe file,you will need to start the utility with the phone in fastboot mode. this will be evident by the words fsatboot usb with the phone plugged in.
if you are not able to get to this mode,you can also extract rom.zip and install it from the sd card,but we dont want to overwhelm you with directions at this point,so well cross that bridge when we come to it.
to recap:
1)did the phone boot to the screen above when you powered it on,or did you select it?
2)let the phone fuly charge,and try fastboot/hboot again with vol rocker,power,and trackball
3)only once phone is fully charged should you try and run the .exe,and be prepaired that it will wipe all your data and leave your phone in an "out of the box" state.

Hello evey one,
I have the same problem as Mr Wahab, so I downloaded the file and I tried to connect my cell phone to pc (but some times I get this "Unknown device" and some times my pc go searching for "Android.1" driver but it never seems to be found)
So I downloaded HTC Synch and installed it, then uninstalled it without uninstalling the drivers. so when I connected my phone after that the pc search for 3 drivers
-my htc = (found) connected- and the other two drivers are not found.
does it function wihout these drivers ??

now when I plugged it to my pc, the phone keeps logging in and out (like the screen turning on and off) showing the following (look image)
(black screen with htc written in the middle and triangle with exclamation sign in the corners)
