Ok here we go again. I had previously posted here that my SD card wouldn't mount. Someone told me to wipe the Delvik cache and I did that and it worked beautifully. For a little while :/ It is now doing the same thing again! I am running the MIUI Rom and honestly want rid of this rom as I have had way too many problems with it. Nothing is wrong with my SD card. I have tried factory reset, reflashing the MIUI rom, and other things. I don't know what else to do. And I'm not too good at this stuff, as my friend rooted it for me. and he is as clueless about my problem as I am now. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys! Oh and also using clockwork.

well first off i would switch recoveries as clockwork mod does not really wipe well. i would try amon ra2.3. go here:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html and go to the switching recoveries section to get amon ra2.3. after that try and wipe dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps.
if not then i would try and flash another rom. you canuse the guide for the how to's on how to flash a rom as well.
Thank you very much I successfully switched recoveries but now I think I bricked it. God I hope I didn't. Now when on the loading screen (the MIUI one) it just shows the screen goes black and shows the screen again. does this forever. Never loads. Pulled battery does same thing. How the heck do I get to ANY other screen now???
that is normal. you are on the bootanimation for miui. whenever you wipe dalvik cache and cache, it will always takes longer then normal as it has to build up cache as it boots up. how long are you waiting? you can try flashing another rom.

in amon ra you can connect you phone to the pc by selecting usb-ms toggle.
so download a rom (i would try mikg 3.0) then move it to the card via recovery with the usb-ms toggle. if you go to the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html and go to the flashing roms section for the how to's on flashing a rom.
But ocn how do I get back to the recovery screen? This may be simple answer but I don't know it
Only way to turn phone off is to pull battery. turn back on and the stupid animation thing comes on and repeats
ok so pull the battery out then press and hold power+vol down. select recovery do you get stuck there as well?
Ok got it all fixed...new rom flashed, still MIUI because I love it but it's a newer one. Thanks for all your help guys. I keep learning more and more, eventually I wont have to keep asking all these dumb questionsThanks to ocnbrz you saved me again!
