Came across this pop-up message on the The Official Site of the Seattle Seahawks | Seahawks.com webpage:
Really? I will have a "better" experience with all those ads slowing down my connection, cluttering up the page and annoying the hell out me?
At least tell the truth and post this message:
I understand that many sites make money only by users clicking through on the ads. And I'm familiar with the debate over ad blockers. So it's a gray area.
But one thing that is not gray is that my "experience" with an ad blocker is vastly improved over surfing without an ad blocker.
We noticed that you may have an Ad Blocker turned on. Please be aware that our site is best experienced with Ad Blockers turned off.
