Those with GPS issues after update is you phone rooted?
No, my phone is not rooted. I have never been able to get more than 2 satellites. Never a lock.

Those with GPS issues after update is you phone rooted?
I finally got into my GPS setting using anycut. I created a shortcut to LbsTestMode. I can confirm that my setting have not changed with the update. I still have the XDA setting applied i.e. MS Based, Use Skyhook ON, supl.google.com, port 7276.
I will not be changing a thing. My GPS works for now so no tinkering for me...

If we are talking about the same update JH7, Samsung is in for a ton of complaints as my GPS has not improved. I hope there's another update coming in the next couple of days/weeks that addresses the GPS issue.

I don't have "activities". Did you use an applications to give you access to that or are you rooted?
I had the same problem but I figured it out using the app Anycut. After installing just insert the steps "Anycut" and then "Activity" instead of "activities".
If you're not happy I encourage you to go to the store and do what it takes to get your satisfaction.I used GPS Test and Compass apps today, both at one point or another, had me going in the wrong direction. Unlike everyone else, I don't have aGPS on, strictly GPS. This continues to tell me that the so called improvement is not there. I don't know if Samsung is expecting us to use aGPS to truly solve the position issues this phone has. But, with that said, using strictly GPS I stood outside my office building for 5 mins and still had no lock. Got in the car and started driving, a few mins later, GPS Test started showing a lock on satellites. I'll do a driving test on the way home tonight and if that fails, will be calling the local AT&T store and asking for the manager. So far, I'm not happy with what I'm seeing.
So does this mean we're not getting Froyo in September?
