It's gorgous out here. I've lived in BC for almost 10 years and I still stare off at the mountains in the background while I'm driving somewhere. We got some good views hereBeautiful British Columbia! Ah how I miss thee, my old stomping grounds. There's a few less trees down here in Nevada.

what sort of editing/lense/whatever did you do to the picture? i really like the way it looks and id like to try my hand at it with a few of my pictures![]()

Originally came out of an 88 turbocoupe. Its been in the ranger for about 10 years now. When i first did the swap, I think It cost me all of $800Did you do the turbo coupe engine swap or just build the rangers 2.3? Looks like a nice project you got and wouldn't even know it had that motor in it if driving by. I wanted to do a 2.3 turbo for my 89 mustang but I was in the air force then and never had any money.

this picture was taken last year. undergone a few changes since then. gutted/rotated upper and knifed lower... charge piping to match. 65mm bbk throttle body.
before that, it received a ton of go fast goodies.
2.5 stroker crank
crower rods
.030 wiseco pistons
total seal rings
fully ported and polished head
1.89/1.59 valves
big log header
holset wh1c turbo
fmic
the list goes on and on.
What is that holsett out of? And what PSI will it hold? 500hp out of a little motor like that is impressive.
Well you have a nice little ranger there.
it's off a cummins. it's the predecessor to the hx35. roughly 35ish psi.
Nice... 35 psi is big boy stuff...![]()
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975thats my biggest regret about buying a brand new car. I can barely mod it without voiding the warranty, id love to upgrade the turbo to around 22PSI, stage 2 tune, etc...
at least I can do a full exhaust, short throw and HID's with out messing up the warranty.
