Custom Tray

Anyone can tell me how many apps I can fit in there? I put 5, and the rest just pile up behind the first 5.

Also, in the description, I am suppose to be able to put Springboards and other elements in there. Anyone knows how to do this? I can't figure it out. I am looking to do something like the TouchFlo interface, but right now, I am limited to 5 static icons. I'd like to be able to put those icons and springboards in a custom tray and add maybe another 3-4 icons to my list.

BTW, I know I can put another 5 icons one another screen, but I like a good challenge. :-)

I did.. I get a black screen saying email will show up and does not do anything...

I think force closures (I am guessing) are due to layers.. Well I have been changing it and # of times them occuring have reduced..

You should be able to scroll and have a blank space where you can loong press and add more. As long as your custom tray isn't locked.

I was running into the same problem, when I suddenly stumbled upon the "fix."

When I was adding more icons, for some reason they would literally hide BEHIND or UNDER the first icon! Long-pressing on the first icon in the row will select the new icon behind it, and you can now move it.

After a while I figured that I should just leave the first space "blank", since all new icons appear there, and then just move them. The very last icon I put in my tray appeared, as usual, in the first spot, and I merely left it there.

I believe the proper sorting selection will solve this, I sort alpabetically with no problems. I tried another sort style and the icons appeared under each other.
 
Most of my trays are not sorted alphabetically ... but sometimes you do have to move a few icons around until you find the one that is hiding. :D

Thanks for the tip. I noticed that this morning. I was sliding icons in the tray instead of using the context menu.

Is there a way to add pictures AND springboards in the tray? Since I use custom icons and transparent springboard over them, I don't see how I could add custom buttons in the tray.

Thanks again. I can't wait for the next beta, so my widgets will finally work without killing SW once or twice a day.

Other than having to reload my apps in my custom tray, I have no problems so far. Digital clock widget is updating fine. The last version, it wouldn't update even for 1 minute.

No FC's for me. Maybe try redownloading and reinstalling?

I'm very happy with it so far.
 
I had one FC when trying to view "about" to make sure that I had the right version. Other than that, it seems to be updating widgets fine for the time being. I've only had it on my phone for like 15 minutes.

Will have to check to see how the blurry icon fix is working out. This is the thing that's been bugging me the most (aside from non-updating widgets, of course).
