It will be very interesting to see if Samsung will release a Note Fold (or Fold 2 w/S Pen) this summer. Of course, all bets are off for anything being manufactured on schedule right now. We may end up with a whole bunch of new phone launches around the Christmas holidays.

Is it possible that Samsung leaked the Galaxy Note 20 - in a video for an air conditioner?

Check out this video, starting around the 0:50 mark:

A FULL screen phone, no bezels, no notch, no punch-hole camera! Is this a sci-fi phone? Wishful thinking? Or is it, maybe, a hint of what's coming - leaked to consumers who weren't even thinking about a phone?

BUY YOUR OWN, Steven!

:vroam:
:D

I have been reading specs here & there, but I have nothing compiled... especially the conflicting rumors. Let's face it, though: if this pandemic doesn't get beaten soon, the Galaxy Note 20 could go down in history as the most heavily researched, tested, prototyped cell phone EVER! Who knows how long they have to work on this with no production deadline... or what they will come up with?

To answer your question, @Steven58 here are the details about it the Note 20 I know so far:

It will have a base 128GB internal storage using UFS 3.1, which puts the read/write speeds on our UFS 3.0 chips to shame; with options up to 1TB internal storage.
MicroUSB slot stays! Good, because I don't store critical files in internal storage. I have a 1TB card that can move to a new device should this one get damaged.
The same camera modules as the Galaxy S20 Ultra, with that 108mp ultra zoom that will have voyeurs around the world in a whirling dervish...
Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 955, meaning that 5G connectivity is embedded in every model.
A new LPDDR5 RAM module with 16GB of RAM - compare that to the original Motorola Droid of a decade ago, with 512MB of RAM!
A brand new OLED screen with enhanced 120hz refresh rate, resulting in the smoothest, most fluid viewing experience ever on a smartphone.
Upgraded S Pen with even more tricks!

Here are the unconfirmed rumors:

Samsung is replacing its in-house optical fingerprint scanner with Qualcomm’s next-gen 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanner
Samsung has perfected the under-display front camera, so there will be no need for that annoying punch-hole ever again
There will be a large-format foldable, much like the Galaxy Fold, with an S Pen. It remains to be seen whether it will fall into the Note line or the Fold line.

I've heard that the Unpacked Event will be incredibly early, maybe even in July... if production can remain on track despite the global COVID-19 pandemic, expect availability in mid-August.

Of course, I will never get a carrier-branded phone again if I can pre-order it from Samsung: the unlocked versions update sooner and no carrier bloatware!

Ty bro. It sounds like a monster. Boy do I want it. I've been a note person for years. This sounds amazing! Thank you again.

Oh, come on, Hadron! We all have uses for the selfie camera! Especially... you know... THAT use!

Stop that! We all take THOSE selfies! I know you all do! Don't you? Some of you? A few? Somebody?

Oh... wow... never mind

:p
Oh yes I'm a firm believer in the fact that we do

Well as long as it doesn't interfere with the display quality (I don't care at all about the selfie camera quality, so just having the thing out of the way is all I ask).

Will they improve the under-display fingerprint scanner at the same time? Maybe switch to the optical ones that everyone else uses? ;)

Good heavens, I hope so! This Samsung fingerprint scanner is a pain in the posterior! I'll bet I've re-entered my fingerprints (three of them) at least 3 times if not 4... because it keeps forgetting them! I've found facial recognition to be just as hit-or-miss. The Qualcomm fingerprint scanner is said to be far more accurate and reliable - if I'm not mistaken, it was used on the S20 line.

That bodes well for the Note 20 line, which should be nearing final design approval and prototyping in the coming weeks.

True bezel less and 7.2" 120hz screen.
I would prefer a pop up camera to a half baked under display camera though.

While the pop-up camera seems to be more sensible, there are still problems with it. It adds thickness to the phone; and the mechanism could fail. Either the camera would be in the phone, inaccessible, or permanently sticking out.

And who's to say the under-display camera will be "half baked"? It's my understanding that the display will cover the camera until the selfie camera is selected: at which time the display over the sensor goes transparent, allowing the shot. My only concern is the quality of the display over that little dot of screen; how it may differ from the rest of the screen; and how that works. I guess we'll find out in three months!

An obvious issue with a pop-up camera is that it's very hard to provide an IP rating with one, and in the price bracket Samsung will be selling these are it's difficult to forego that (one thing for the Z or Fold, which are new form-factors, but losing it on an established line is much harder to justify).

I'm not in the market for a new Note. I wasn't in the market a year ago when I stepped up the Note 10+. One never knows what might make a consumer out of a spectator. It's impossible for me to not be excited about the new Note and to dream and scheme. Here is a rumor I found from tom's guide that I thought was a fun read.

I'm very curious to see how they differentiate this from the s20 series

well looks like they might ditch ToF camera which is a 3d camera designed to measure and capture depth. i mainly use it for the app Quick Measure. but the note 20 might not have this camera. which is fine by me. i rarely use the app TBH.

There are def some camera improvements I'd like to see, and the Ultra had/has some issues, so if ditching the ToF helps them focus on other things, I call that a win.
