Post your internet speeds!

Verizon FiOS in central PA. Opted for a 25/25 Mbps connection instead of a more asymmetric connection, since I run a personal webserver out of my home.

Infrequently I look at my providers home page for new packages. Shaw, my cable provider has internet, tv and phone. Recently they upgraded my bundle from 15Mbps down / 1Mbps up to 25/2.5 for no change, that was a month ago.

Today, for $5.00 more a month I ordered their 50/3 internet package. They will be replacing the modem (at no charge) as the current one can't do that type of speed. Also, there is a 400GB cap. which I will have to work hard to approach ;)

Just curious as to what everyones internet connection speed is? :cool:

I'm enjoying these kinda speeds. It's much better than what I had in my last house. Unfortunately, I do have to settle for Comcast....

Wireless on a 50mb connection with split bands on a dual band WRT160Nv2
Peaks at about 35mb download but we've currently got about 8 devices chattering over both bands..

hi I test the speed of my internet in many sites I got the best speed results from here scanmyspeed
my results are
download=1.09Mbps
upload=0.87Mbps
I don't know the reason why my speed seems to be slow many of them said that if Cable Internet services share bandwidth with satellite Internet access.
If there are many subscribers using that same bandwidth, it can slow down the connection. kindly guide me how to solve this problem .

Hmm. I like my ISP, been good business for several statements...nearly dozens, hear it could be better but you know you gotta pay 'premium' to get premium.
