I killed off all non-essential apps prior to my posted run and then ran again with EVERYTHING I always load running in the background (beautiful widgets, pure calendar, temp mon, setcpu, htc_ime, TiBU, etc.). It reduced the result by about 50 points. Negligible, IMO.
Just for giggles, I ran it with the clock set at 250. It still beat most other devices. lol.

I, too, ran with everything normally running, not killing anything off.
With the 1.2 LV kernel I got a 1599.
WIth NexFro with default kernel I got a 905....
Unfortunately, I was in bed nodding off, and did not do any screen caps.
I am betting that with no apps running and the original P3 1.2 I can prolly hit high 1700s....

Yes! Not sure exactly how, but had something to do with putting off rebooting as long as possible after installing.

so these speds are great...but how many of you are runningOC'd real world? i am running at a cool 600mhz and enjoying the speed benefits...although it feels a smoother at 1200, the battery likes a little slower setting for now....lol.
just installed NexFro 101, and am setting it up to my liking, we'll see what we get once i'm back up...

I run it O/C'd. If I don't have it overclocked it won't last 2 days, If I overclock it, it won't last 2days, Either way I have to charge it overnight. Whether it's at 20% or 40% at night, doesn't matter it still has to go on the charger.
