Great Scott! China bans time travel at the cinema and on TV | Mail Online

"Shows that feature time travel have been effectively banned by the Chinese government after it issued new rules for TV and film directors.
In the latest crackdown on dissent, authorities want its citizens to uphold the country's values and not promote anything that would re-write history."

So no Terminator, Doctor Who, Star Trek or Back To The Future, instead you can have non-stop period dramas about the Japanese occupation of China.

Why bother trying to ban movies in the piracy capital of the world lol?

Chinese food for dinner....again.

Chrome Remote Desktop is amazing. I am never without my Windows computer with my Chromebook in my bag.

Oh I forgot that was a feature. I might as well forward a port on my router and leave my computer set up to try it. I can go to school without my gaming laptop, finally.

For remote access/control/administration I just use TeamViewer. Free, easy, and it works great. I can access any system I have access too from any system that I can get a browser on. I didn't try accessing it from my phone but don't see why it wouldn't work. It'd be a *itch to see given the resolution that I run on my systems though. lol

I can use that too..hmm. So many options. I can use with Chrome Remote because the chromebook I have lasts with battery longer. I use TeamViewer to test malware with a friend. Still at least I have 2 options.

Met a material scientist tonight who told me all about the science and current problems with OLED screens.

Actually really interesting stuff :eek::eek:

The ban on showing and making time travel science fiction is for TV and cinema. However they're widely available via the Internet and bootleg DVDs.

Don't think China has ever made much sci-fi anyway, but now we seem to be getting a lot of TV shows and movies set around the Japanese occupation of China, as well as the rise of the Communist Party of China, and on how the People's Liberation Army (PLA) defeated the Kumingtong in the 1940s
