There's just something about 'meeting' a total stranger on the internet that, in my case at least, just can't work. We met, talked, walked and snacked for about two hours and she's still a total stranger. It didn't help that her online picture was about ten years younger than she is.

Something tells me that we'll never meet again and that I'll never try this again. Even though I know real people that, like guys up here, have really hooked onto someone, I'm more inclined to keep it from happening.

Well, I just like meeting my internet friends sometimes. I wasn't looking for a connection, but once we've met, there is a chance to consider whether there's a chance of a relationship of sorts.

Oftentimes, the people we meet are not the people we expect: the internet filters out some of the visual indicators that prejudice us against people, though it adds a layer of 'verbal' cues we might not otherwise notice.

Hey, whatever you're comfortable with - but honestly, I've never understood this thinking. How is it any different than meeting someone in a bar, at the grocery store, etc. & going out for coffee or whatever? You have to start somewhere.

Unfortunately, I've met a few men who had really old pictures too... it happens.

The one thing I got a kick out of today... something I haven't had to do in decades... urban parallel park with no margin for error. There's a trick for it that one has to know to pull it off. I wasn't sure I could bring it all back in front of God and everybody, but I did. I should've selfied my car.

One of the great satisfying things in life is to execute a perfect parallel park, first time, into a tight space.

All I can say is yum!!! Tried the corn dogs the other night and I'm telling you... You can't tell the difference!! My carnivore husband and eldest son couldn't even tell!! My veg son made me show him the box so he could read the ingredients because he couldn't believe they were plant based! So tonight I'm making Coney Island chili dogs!( half with normal chili half with veg chili! Bring on the mustard and onions!!! Seriously though ...I hate fake veggie meat stuff yuck!!! But these are incredible!! Worth a try
